It’s been a week since I found out Harry was dating that model Mia James.  Since then I had seen an article about the two of them and a couple pictures of them out and about.  I knew it wasn’t a good idea to go looking for information on them but I couldn’t help it sometimes.  Especially when I would lie awake at night on my couch on the bus.

The boys have been extremely helpful.  Niall’s come by almost every morning for breakfast and he’s been trying to make me smile more.  Liam’s been there when I need to talk and Zayn has been the one who lets me just sit there and think without feeling like I have to talk about everything I’m feeling.  Louis and Eleanor have been fantastic.  Eleanor and I have gone shopping a couple times and Louis hasn’t brought up Harry much, trying to keep our conversations light-hearted.  Lou and my mom have been an amazing support system, but I still missed Harry.

I missed him most when I finished baking a batch of cookies and when I thought of a good question to ask him.  I thought about him when I listened to “Give Me Love” and even when I put on my Converse.  It was also the little things, like when I saw somebody with a head full of curls or tattoos on their arms.  It drove me crazy.

And I know he’s been thinking of me too, which made it all a little harder.  Lou’s told me that Harry asked about me the first couple days after the incident but when he realized that she wasn’t giving him much information he stopped.  Lou did say that she felt bad completely lying to one of her best friend so she did let it slip that I needed some space.  I know this whole situation isn’t easy for anybody and I’ve appreciated everyone being so kind to both of us.  I never expected anybody to take sides and so far, nobody has.  My mom’s been nothing but nice to him and the boys have been respectful to me.  Even Lou has been out shopping with him a couple times.  The only difference is that Harry and I haven’t been hanging out, at all.

I looked out the bus window then back at my phone, waiting for Liam’s text.  I was going with him, Louis, and Zayn to an interview of theirs.  Louis thought it’d be a good idea for me to get out a little bit more and I agreed.  Niall and Harry were going to do some interviews tomorrow so today was my day to get away from tour life for a bit.  I think I had been a part of this tour for almost four months now, but the exact number of days was lost to me.

My phone buzzed in my lap and I quickly got off the bus, rushing over to the parked car.  Niall opened the door for me and I hopped in, smiling and saying hello to the boys and Paul.  The car drove off and I joined in on the conversations that were happening before I got in the car.

“Wait, Niall what are you doing here?  I thought Zayn was doing the interview today, not you,” I said.

“Me too, but I think Zayn’s doing some writing today,” he said.  He shrugged, which told me he was just going with the flow of it all.  The mention of the boys writing for their upcoming album made me smile.

I started talking to Paul about upcoming shows until we pulled up to a building.  We all hopped out and walked towards the entrance.  I was making small talk with Liam as we followed Paul inside.  I was excited to see this side of the boys’ life.  I loved watching their interviews on YouTube and I’ve always thought that they showcased a side of the boys that let fans see how down to earth they still were.  I had the pleasure of seeing this side but not everybody did.

We all walked into a waiting room of sorts and I sat down in one of the chairs there.  Niall sat down next to me.

“How you doin’ this mornin’?” Niall asked.  Liam and Louis were talking to Paul a couple feet away.
