I approach the stranger slowly. Its a man, maybe in his mid forty's. He has electric blue eyes, and brown hair that is carefully swiped to the left. He's pretty tall and muscular.

"Vera." He says.

"Do I know you?" I ask.

"Not really. I'm you're father."  He says.

"What are you talking about, my father is at work right now." I say.

"I'm your real father." He says calmly.

"No you aren't, leave me alone." I say. The sky turns stormy. Lighting rumbles.

"Vera, you have to listen to me, I am Zeus, the Greek god. You are a demi god. This is difficult to understand, but you must leave Saint Anthony's, a danger approaches, you must leave."

"Leave me alone." I scream. A lighting bolt hits a tree.

"Look, your anger creates a storm, you are a very powerful person. Only a child of Zeus can do that. You are dyslexic, and ADHD, all demi gods are." He says.

"You're making this up, leave me alone man, I don't know you!" I snarl. Another lightning bolt hits the tree. I blink, and the man is gone. Just like that. The storm clouds disappear as well. I whip my head around, looking for him, frantically searching, but hes no where to be seen. I run home grab my bag, and go for the bus stop.

Once the bus comes I sit in the empty seat, put my headphones in, and listen to my music. It calms me when I'm frustrated. What does he mean Zeus? He's not real, he's just some god the Greeks worshiped. I turn my head to the window to clear my mind and I see him. He's on the side walk. A car drives by and he disappears again. I'm freaking out now. I get off the bus, and walk into school. Once I get to my locker my heart is racing. I unlock it, and his face is in my locker. I scream, and slam the locker. Everyone in the hallway stares at me, I cautiously open the locker and hes gone. I awkwardly hang my backpack, and grab my books and gym bag. My first class is English, then I have geography, lunch, gym, and art. I hate English. I can't read because of my dyslexia, and the teacher is an ass  about it too.

I sit down at my desk, there is five minuets till class starts. My friend Alex Jefferson comes and sits down beside me. Me and Alex have known each other sense birth. He's just like me with ADHD and dyslexia. He's about 6"3 and scrawny, but an amazing runner. We have races all the time. He has dark brown eyes, and black hair cut into a fringe that sweeps over his forehead. He has a smile that makes anyone laugh, but when hes angry, you don't want him in your way. He's into video games and fencing. He's really attractive, but I can only think of his as a friend. He's a pretty dark person with a lot of dark secrets, but I love him.

"Hey Vera." He says smiling.

"Hey Alex, hows it going?"

"Fine, you?"

"I'll tell you at lunch, my morning has been pretty messed up." I say. Just then a teacher walks in.

"Hello class, your teacher is not here today, and I will be your supply. The name is Mr. Carlson. Please say here when I call your name." He says. He calls out every ones name, mine being  one of the last, Vera Stravinsky.

"Vera Stravinsky?" Says the teacher, his voice deeper and rougher. I look up to say.

"He-" I choke on my words. The Zeus guy is standing there, in my supply's clothing. I drop my pen. I reach down to get it, and when I get back up, the supply is back to normal.

"Vera Stravinsky isn't here?" He calls.

"No no sir, I'm here." I croak.

"Alright." He says.

"You ok?" Whispers Alex.

I shake my head. I want to cry, I'm horrified. The rest of the day is bound to go bad.
