"Its none of our concern!" Growls Thalia.

"Oh, a giant dragon is rampaging through Canada, and we arnt going to do anything?!" Shouts Nico.

"Notify Camp Artemis, its their job." Said Jason.

"There is a marsh near by, they prefer living near marshes, perhaps we can track it down." I said.

"No. We have a tight time limit to get to Camp Half- Blood, we won't have any more delays." Said Thalia, turning around, and continued walking. We followed and she stepped one foot into the water, sending a ripple through it, and it became very silent.

Then, a giant roar came from the right, the direction of the marsh.

"What was that?" I said, my voice cracks, and very quiet.

"HYDRA! HIDE!" Screams Thalia.

The only problem was, is that we were in the middle of the field, and on one side was a dead forest, and the other was the pine forest. Nico vanished, shadow traveling to the pines. I had a plan, I ran through the brown water, into the dead forest.

"VERA!" Shouts Jason.

"Trust me! Go into the pines." I shout. The run and hide in the tree branches.

I slide on my side, and crawl under a dead willow, its leaves camouflage me. I poke out from under them, and I see it. Its huge. 20 feet tall, swampy green and brown, thick scales. Its golden eye gleam, burning with hatred. It scanned the area, looking around for the enemy. I slowly took off my bow, and took out an arrow. If I hit it , I could distract it, and then my plan could follow out. I sat up, bring the arrow back, and launched it. It hits the dragon in the eye, and it growls, shaking the ground. A thundercloud forms, and I know Jason and Thalia are planning something, so I mentally join in thinking lightning. I run out from under the tree, screaming, and a giant bold of lightning hits the dragon, sending it into shock and it collapse. We thought it was down, but it started getting up. The lighting flashed around, but missing the dragon, hitting the trees. It looked at me, snarling, its teeth, like swords peering out. Smoke came from its nose, and a growl escaped its throat. I need fire to light my arrow. But I cant do that or I'll get incinerated..

Skeletons erupted from the ground, attacking the dragon, but it burnt them to dust. I focused on a near by dead tree, and thought lightning. The tree exploded with electricity, and caught on fire. I slashed out an arrow, and dipped the end in the flame, making it turn blue.

"Hey, fatty over here!" I shout. The dragon looks at me with its one eye. It opened its mouth. Hold it; hold it; hold it; NOW!

I let the arrow fly, sending it into the dragons mouth, and it exploded into blue starts and shimmer the dragon growled in agony, coughing and wheezing. Some skeletons climbed up its leg, onto its back and on it head, stabbing at its other eye. It was a horrible and a sad sight, but it was a killing machine and can't be kept alive. It collapsed, try to claw towards me. I stared into its plucked out eyes.

"Die." I said, clenching my fists, and putting my all my energy into my hate for the creature. It looked towards me, I saw its face go blank, and a hint of sorrow appeared before its muzzle went to stone, and then the rest of his body followed.

After its tail fully became rock, I collapsed.
