Naruto x Reader; Bringing A Woman Home

Let's pretend Kushina and Minato are still alive! Kushina is my 3rd favorite female character <3 obviously Konan and Tsunade are 1 and 2 xD

You were nervous. Plain out nervous. Your stomach was doing flips and you constantly kept checking the mirror to make sure you looked presentable.

"Baby girl you look great, stop freaking out." Naruto grinned, poking your forehead. "They'll love you just like I do."

You couldn't help but to smile at his words. "Thanks Naru-kun, but I wanna look great for your parents."

He wrapped his arms around you, standing in between you and the dreaded mirror. "Calm down. Besides, how can my crazy family judge you?"

You both laughed at his words, then you returned his hug. He pecked your lips before picking you up bridal style, running out of your house. Since you weren't a ninja like him, you yelped and held onto him.

He grinned at you, then jumped off the buildings to his parent's house. You loved it when he carried you, the way the ninjas run was so fun. You leaned into him, laying your head against his chest to listen to his strangely calm heart beat despite the exercise he was doing.

He stopped outside of a large house, gently setting you down. Without knocking he opened the door, taking your hand and walking in. "Mom! Dad! I'm here!" He called.

A woman with beautiful long red hair walked into the room. "NARUTO!" She shouted, pulling him into a bone crushing hug.

He yelped and whined. "Mooom! Not in front of (First/Name).."

She giggled, letting him go. "So this is the famous (First/Name)." She practically sang. "I'm Kushina Uzumaki, Naruto's mother." She smiled, holding out her hand.

You smiled, taking her hand. "(First/Name) (Last/Name)." You retracted your hand, admiring her hair still.

"What is it?" She asked, confused by your staring.

"Your hair.." You trailed. You could see her and Naruto stiffen. "It's so pretty."

She blinked, not expecting that. She was expecting you to say how ugly it was and how it looked like a tomato. "You really think so?" She pressed.

You nodded with a nervous smile. "It reminds me of a rose, with how deeply red it is. How did you get it like that?"

"It's natural."

Your eyes widened. "You mean you naturally have great hair?!" You exclaimed with disbelief. "I wish my hair was like that."

Kushina smiled widely, pulling you into a hug. "Awe honey! You have my approval!" She almost squealed.

Naruto grinned, giving you a thumbs up.

"Minato dear! Come see (First/Name)!"

A man with the same blonde hair and blue eyes as Naruto walked into the room. He was mixing together something in a bowl, blinking when he saw you. "You mean the girl Naruto keeps talking about is actually here?"

You smiled sheepishly at him. "Hello sir." You gave a small wave.

"Oh don't be shy!" Kushina grinned. "Minato might've been a hokage, but I can promise you he's nice!"

Minato nodded, setting the bowl down and walking over to you. He smiled and held his hand out. "Minato Uzumaki."

You shook his hand. "(First/Name) (Last/Name)."

"Are you a ninja (First/Name)? That last name comes from a different village,village correct?" He asked gently.

You shook your head. "Nope, I'm not. And yes, from The Mist." You then gave a small grin. "I met Naruto on one of his missions actually. He was assigned to protect Tazuna as he built the bridge and I just so happened to be one of the citizens helping with the project. When Zabuza tried to attack me, Naruto jumped in and saved me. We were only kids then.. But I fell for him." You admitted, blushing softly.

Kushina squealed. "Awe! My son saved his future wife at such a young age!"

Naruto blushed as well, rubbing the back of his neck. "How about we go eat?" He laughed nervously.

Kushina nodded. "Good idea." She said, her and Minato disappearing into the dining room.

Naruto sighed in relief, kissing the top of your head. "Did ya have to embarrass me like that?"

"Mhm." You smiled innocently. "But do you think your parents like me?"

He chuckled. "I think they love you. Which means there's no getting away from me~"

You grinned. "I wouldn't have it any other way."
