Itachi x Pregnant!Reader

Warning: Slight Spoilers about Itachi's past, read at your own risk!

You paced back and forth, patting your hand on your thighs. "Oh my Pein, oh my Pein." You repeated, worrying.

(See what I did there? Pein=god? Eh, eh? I'm so sorry xD)

How could you tell him?! He murdered his entire clan, maybe he'd be upset at the fact you had his child. Another Uchiha. You whimpered and hugged yourself.
"Okay (First/Name), he doesn't get back for another day. Just build up confidence and tell him when he gets back." You tried to give yourself a little pep talk. "He'll accept it, just calm down... OH MY GOD I'M GOING CRAZY!" You yelled, crouching down and held your head.

You didn't mean to, but tears started trickling down your cheek.

"Hey (First/Name), do you- what's wrong?" Konan asked, opening the door to your room. When she saw your state, she ran to you and quickly hugged you.

You hugged her back, crying on her. "K-Konan.." You mumbled, wanting to tell her but just can't.

She softly shushed you, whispering words of comfort. You gripped onto her tightly, you needed to get it off your chest.

"Konan.. i-i'm.." You trailed. "... pregnant."

She didn't seem affected. "I know. I could tell by your sudden outburst, you don't usually cry."

It's true. Even when you found out about Itachi and what he plans to do, you didn't cry. You were close to Sasori and Deidara, but didn't cry over the Danna's death like the blonde did.

You sighed in relief, it felt good to have someone to talk to. "How am I going to t-tell Itachi?" You sniffed, trying to calm down.

"You just have to. Trust me, he'll be beyond happy." She said, pulling back slightly to smile at you.

You sadly smiled back, your tear stained cheeks and puffy eyes making you look like a child who finally found happiness. When you thought about it, the smile faltered. "But he killed his clan.."

"He didn't tell you.. did he?" She asked with disappointment. She then sighed and sat criss cross in front of you. "He had a reason behind his act. The Leaf Village Council had given him orders to kill off all Uchihas."

"But Itachi is an Uchiha." You said with confusion.

"Yes, but he was a spy. You see, the Uchiha Clan knew they were really powerful. And since it was mainly the Senjus in control because of War between Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama that they wanted some control too. So, they began to form this plan to group up and try to take it by force."

"They were planning another war, weren't they?" You mumbled.

"Yes." Konan nodded. "Itachi found it out and reported to the Council. In return, they ordered him to wipe out the whole Uchiha Clan. Itachi is a really powerful ninja, so he did it with ease. However, he couldn't bring himself to kill his younger brother, Sasuke. In summary, it was either the Uchiha Clan got wiped out, or the Leaf Village."

Your eyes widened at the last part. "You mean he didn't want to?! It was only orders?!"

"Calm down." Konan ordered. "Stress isn't good for the baby."

You sighed, but did as told. "Okay. So you think Itachi will be okay with this..?" You asked, placing a hand on your small tummy.

She smiled. "Of course. But I will be the one helping, as the only girl friend you have its my responsibility."

You giggled and nodded. "Alright mommy number two."

She grinned and stood up. "Want something to eat?"

Your stomach suddenly growled loudly at the mention of eating. You nodded furiously. "Yes!"

She giggled. "Alright, what do you want me to make? Rice, ramen, dan-"

"Dangos." You interrupted. "Definitely dangos."

She nodded. "Alrighty, 3 sticks of dangos coming right up!" She said and disappeared.

You smiled to yourself. You were thankful to have a friend like her, willing to help out with the baby. You were still nervous about telling Itachi, but with Konan's prep talk you were more ready to.

A few moments later Konan returned with your food. You grinned at it and eagerly starting eating them. She watched you with disbelief, then laughed gently.

"Hungry?"

You nodded, not even ashamed of it. "Yes. Very much so." You said and stuffed your mouth again.

"Where is she?" A familiar male voice asked. It sounded muffled.

You paled and looked at Konan with fear. "H-he's not supposed to be back until tomorrow!"

She looked just as confused as you. "I thought so as well."

"She's in your room, duh. Stupid Uchihas, yeah." Deidara groaned.
You scurried to your feet and Konan stood up. "Calm down." She ordered, her hands reaching towards you.

You stiffened when you heard approaching footsteps. "S-stand in front of me! His Sharrigan could see the baby!" You whispered to her with panic.

"That won't help." She countered. "Just tell him!"

You whimpered. "Please!!"

As soon as the door opened Konan stepped in front of you. The door opened and Itachi appeared. He held his regular emotionless expression, but something was different.

He looked slightly worried.

"H-hi." You smiled, trying to sound normal.

"Konan, can I talk to her alone?" He asked in a nice manner.

Konan nodded. "Of course. Just know that I'm across the hall." She whispered the last part to you before leaving.

The air grew silent around you two and you awkwardly looked to the side.

"I know already." He said calmly, the worry now gone.

You stiffened, wrapping your arms around your figure. He simply smiled and walked over to you, pulling you close to him. "Don't worry, I'm happy."

With his words of reassurance, you relaxed and closed your eyes.
