"I honestly feel like I'm in an alternative universe." I breathe out as I walk through the thick moist grass. My back hurts just a little from carrying my backpack, but for this view, it is so worth it.

"I want to live here." Harry agrees as he moves branches and leaves from the way.

It's our last day in Hawaii and we decided to make the most of it. We woke up early in the morning and had a nice healthy breakfast before we headed out. Harry really wanted to go hiking. I liked the idea and here we are climbing and jumping through the jungles of Hawaii.

"Snake!" Harry yells and when I lift up my face, he's pointing behind me.

"Ah!" I yell feeling fear all the way down to my toes. I make a run for it. I don't wanna die anytime soon. I nearly push Harry over in the process but he holds onto my sleeve. Then I see his face. He's laughing.

"Harry!" I smack his arm hard as he bends over laughing. "Oh my gosh, you scared me, idiot!"

"I didn't think you'd get that scared. You should've seen your face."

"Stop it! I don't do snakes, stupid. I almost went into cardiac arrest." I scowl.

"Okay, okay. I'm sorry, Sky." He apologizes bringing me into a hug. But I see those crinkling eyes and dimpled half smile. Sneaky little curly.

We continue to walk up the hills. I have my phone in my hands snapping pictures of everything. Of the shaggy green leaves and trees. Of the clouds that seem to gently caress the tips of the mountains. Of the crystal clear water falling from the majestic waterfalls.

Behind the leaves and thick trees, we come to a place that seems like it's truly a king's throne. From here you can see the falling waterfalls in the distance. The curves of the vast green land. I gasp.

"This is so mesmerizing." I say in awe of the wonder my eyes have the privilege of being witness of.

"Beautiful." Harry agrees.

I don't hesitate in taking out my phone and snapping a picture.

"I am the king of the world!" Harry yells out.

I am still hypnotized by the beauty of all this. So beautifully crafted. Nature looks so pretty but so powerful.

"No, but we're literally nothing." I blurt out.

"Huh?"

"No, seriously. Look around you. Look at the trees, look at the waterfalls. Look at the ground beneath you. Look at the size and power of all this. Compare it to us. Humans are nothing. We're nothing compared to this beautiful monstrosity. We're so insignificant, but so valuable." I say and feel tears of joy swelling up in my eyes.

"You're right." Harry says. "But we're a creation just as beautiful as the waterfalls and mountains. And just as powerful."

I remain silent. I feel like Harry teaches me something new every time he talks. And I guess his words are true because that boy's mind is as colorful and majestic as the waterfall falling in the distance. His heart is as pure as the crystal clear water that you can see in the horizon.

"I wanna take a picture with you." I say and position my polaroid camera to take a selfie.

"Okay." He answers. I smile and Harry makes puppy eyes. The picture comes out looking adorable.

"Awe, it's so cute." I smile.

"I agree." He says. "You know, its a shame we weren't able to hike up those volcanoes."
