The car ride overall is just very uncomfortable, no one really says a word until we pull up to the apartment. I hop out of the car as soon as possible and feel Eli grab my hand, guiding me towards the front door. I've had too much to drink to care. I do notice how Stan and Louis are the last people to enter the house and Louis immediately walks into the kitchen to grab himself a beer.

We talk about the sleeping arrangements because Nick, Gemma, and Lou don't really feel like going home at this time of day anyway. "So I'll sleep in Harry's room?" Nick asks Niall somewhat confused. "Yes. I'll sleep on the couch so Gemma and Lou can have my bed. Louis and Stan have the guest room so you'll three have to take Harry's bed unless you want to join me in the living room" Niall replies, wiggling his eyebrows. My bed is large enough besides Nick and I are slim and we've been good friends for years so it won't be awkward.

"Three gay men in one bed. Get Louis in there and you guys can have a gay sleepover!" Stan barks out. "Pfft, I'd rather not" Louis replies, cocking his eyebrow and just glaring at Eli. "Oh no, prince Louis is too good for us!" Eli replies sarcastically. "You really need to shut the fuck up mate" Louis warns him angrily. I watch Louis get up and walk over to Eli but Eli doesn't seem to care as he stands up, towering over Louis. "Or what?"

Gemma stares at me, mouthing 'Do something!' I shrug a little dazed from the amount of alcohol in my system and watch Louis and Eli to see where this is going. "No one wants you here, go home!" Louis spits. "Harry wants me here, tiny" Just when I see Louis is balling his fists and seems ready to throw a punch I jump in between the two grown men. "Stop it!" I say, facing Louis. I grab his shoulders and make him sit back down but don't miss the smirk on Eli's face. "Both of you" I add. When they just continue to yell nasty comments at one another I tell everyone I'm done and head up to my bedroom.

"Louis has anger issues" Nick laughs as he walks into my bedroom just when I'm about to sit down on my bed. "No, he just doesn't like Elijah" I reply and start to unbutton my shirt further. Nick suggests I just lay in the middle so Eli can join us whenever he gets tired. It doesn't take long for Nick to fall asleep and to start snoring, just when I thought I was no longer forced to hear people snore ever night like in our tour bus.

I'm just dozing off when I feel a body pressing against my own. "You smell so good" Eli whispers and I turn around to lay on my back. We quietly talk for a while and I ask Eli to tone it down when it comes to Louis, to just ignore the comments he makes because it ruins it for everyone when they start arguing. "I'll stop paying attention to Louis' comments if you let me take you out tomorrow" I agree to go out with him, not much of a punishment and hope the two boys will start to get along with each other. Eli wraps his arms around me, pulls me closer and sleep takes over.

I wake up to people whispering but am too tired to open my eyes, wishing I will fall back asleep. "You really like him, don't you?" one voice asks. "Yeah," the other replies and I feel a hand brush through my hair, unable to figure out who the voices belong to. "Just be careful, I've known Harry for several years and" the first voice starts but is interrupted by the other. "I know." He sighs. "I know I will lose this once Louis finally realizes and accepts his feelings towards Harry but don't blame me for enjoying it while it lasts," and it finally dawns on me that the people having the conversation are Elijah and Nick. "I'm not blaming you, I just feel bad for you because his heart belongs to someone else and you're a great guy" Nick replies, the hand that had been in my hair has made its way down to my back and is slowly caressing the skin there. "It's just a matter of time" Eli adds and Nick agrees.

Later that day Louis and I are casually talking in the kitchen as I prepare dinner for everyone before Eli and I head out on our date, the conversation I overheard earlier this morning already forgotten. "Why are you only making three portions?" Louis questions, leaning with his back against the kitchen island I'm working on. "Because I won't be here tonight" I reply, smacking Louis' hand away as he tries to steal several chopped up pieces of ham and cheese from the cutting board.
