I wake up and see light flickering. I turn my head to find the TV is still on but muted. I remove myself from Louis' hold, sit up and look around me a little dazed. Louis is holding onto the remote control, head against the headboard, eyes closed and lips slightly parted. He must have fallen asleep watching football but he was kind enough to turn the volume off so I wouldn't wake up. I get up from the bed and walk into the bathroom for a quick toilet break before I tiptoe into the kitchen.

The lights are off and it's pitch black outside. I'm not surprised when I check the clock on our oven and it tells me it's way past midnight. I quickly grab a bottle of water and shiver with it in my hands. It's late October and the temperature drops quite a bit and I won't be surprised if it's only about 6 or so degrees Celsius right now.

I walk back into the bedroom and close the door as quietly as possible, not wanting to wake Louis but when I approach the bed I'm left with another problem. Louis and I were cuddling on top of my duvet and there is no way I will be able to get Louis off of the duvet without him waking up so I go on the hunt for a couple of blankets and find them at the back of my large closet. Telling myself three fluffy ones will be enough.

I set the water bottle down on my nightstand, throw the blankets on the bed and crawl back onto it next to Louis. I drape the blankets over him one by one and remove the remote control from his hand, turn off the TV and place the remote on the nightstand next to the water bottle. Once all three of the blankets are where I want them, I lift them up and crawl closer to Louis. My head resting on his chest once again, tangled legs and my arm around his waist, pulling him as close as possible before I let myself fall asleep with a big smile on my face.

I wake up and let my eyes adjust to the light. The autumn sun shining through my window as we forgot to close the curtains last night. I slowly turn my head to look at Louis' face to find him still asleep, the long lashes resting on the skin below his eyes, his lips slightly parted and he just looks so peaceful that I don't want to wake him up.

I lay back down with my head on his chest and play with the hem of his t-shirt under the blankets, thinking about how much fun we had yesterday but also thinking about the fact that I still haven't told him that I will be leaving soon. I need to tell him today, he deserves to know.

It doesn't take long for Louis to wake up and he carefully stretches his arms, possibly thinking I'm still asleep. "Morning" the first word leaving my mouth after waking up, making my voice sound a lot deeper than usual. "How long have you been awake?" he questions and I feel his hand in my hair, moving to play with a few of the curls that must have come loose from the bun. "Not too long" I reassure him. "Sorry for falling asleep on you" I add shyly. He replies telling me he didn't mind and was quite comfortable, the comment causes a blush to creep onto my cheeks.

We lay in bed, casually talking and sharing the water bottle, avoiding having to go to work, the gym or leave the comfort of my bed and bedroom in general. "I have to tell you something" I finally say after gathering the courage needed. I sit up and just stare at Louis, his hair is tousled, his lazy grin disappears but he still looks so comfortable and absolutely perfect. "Okay?" is the only thing he says, making me more nervous than before. "Please don't get mad" I know it sounds like I'm confessing that I cheated on him with the neighbour and am now pregnant with his child but I can't lose what we have, we have come so far and I'm not ready to give that up.

I watch him scoot up the bed a little so that he's sitting up against the headboard, waiting for me to continue. "Remember the meeting I had yesterday?" I start and Louis nods. "They also said I have to be in Los Angeles in a week from now" I stare down at my hands as they lay still in my lap, unsure of how Louis will respond. He asks me when I will return and as much as I would love to give him an answer, I can't. They're still working on the promo we're doing for our single so there aren't that many shows scheduled, besides the Jingle Bell Ball in the first week of December.
