Louis' point of view

I'm quite sad to see Harry leave the house and head over to the airport. I've pulled him back inside several times because I wanted to delay his departure. I wave and head inside where Niall is grinning but I just shake my head, thinking of what I should do today and disappear into Harry's bedroom. I lay on his side of the bed and just inhale his scent and I know I've promised to change the sheets but they smell like him. I'm sounding like a lovesick teenager but I don't give a shit.

I try to get as much work done as possible in the days that follow but we've spent last week working together in the living room so even working feels a little lonely. He would sit right in front of me and I could touch or hug him whenever I wanted to. I do get more work done because Harry isn't there to distract me and I'm able to finish a few projects which is good, finishing projects means the money will follow in a week or two and I really want to just go out and buy some new clothes and buy my family Christmas presents. We haven't really talked about our plans but I would like to just go to Doncaster to celebrate my birthday and Christmas with them. I haven't seen my sisters and parents in such a long time and I genuinely miss them.

When Stan and I are going out for a couple of drinks we decide to just head home for a couple of days soon. I immediately text Felicite, Charlotte and mum to tell them. My sisters reply within a matter of minutes, I'm guessing mum is currently at work but I know she will be thrilled.

When Stan shows me a couple of pictures of Kendall and Harry I know it shouldn't bother me because he's not into girls and we're exclusively seeing each other but I can't help but feel a pang of jealousy when I stare at their smiling faces. It should be me with him there instead of that skinny, pretty, tan model. I down a couple of shots just to get the image out of my head and text Harry that I hope he's having a good time, he should know I think about him right?

As expected, mum calls me in the morning right after her night shift. "I'm so happy you're coming home. When will you be arriving? How long will you be staying? Oh, I've missed you!" she fires and I rub my eyes, hoping my sight will stop being blurry after a good night's sleep. "Mum, you woke me up. One question at a time please" I groan. Being the perfect mum that she is, she repeats every question one by one and I tell her we'll probably arrive in a couple of days, will be staying for a couple of days and that I have missed her too.

Coming home after work doesn't feel the same when Harry is not there cooking dinner in the kitchen or just laying around on the sofa watching a cooking show on TV. They say you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone and I did already really appreciate Harry but I do really miss having him around. Last time around I knew exactly when he would return and I was counting down the days in my head, not that anyone needs to know that but right now I have no clue when I will see him again.

I ask Niall if there's any information on their next appearance or performance but he tells me there has been a delay and they haven't received their schedules for the upcoming three months yet. Oddly enough the schedule for February is already filled. Instead of moping around I skype Harry and he gives me a look around his living room. We end up watching the same movie and skyping just to make it look like he's here with me or I'm there with him. It did take us four times to press start at the exact same time but we have succeeded and I enjoy listening to Harry comment on the actors or point out how weird some of the things are that they're doing or saying on screen.

Even though I have been in London for several months, I haven't really made any friends. I've met a couple of Harry's friends such as Nick, Lou and of course Gemma and Stan has introduced me to his cousin's friends but I haven't felt a connection with the people I meet on projects but I'm not all that bothered about it. I tag along to things Stan goes to and at one point Nick and Zayn actually show up at our doorstep and demand I come out with them and try out this new skateboard Zayn bought.
