Just a heads up, with each chapter, I appear to make them longer each time.

Luna's Point of View - USS Enterprise, Guest Quarters.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It had been a few hours since Spock had brought Luna back to her room. She had requested a separate room to allow her brother time to cool off. She did agree with Spock that the more time she spent around humans, the more emotions she remembers. Due to her fast learning skills, and a little help from Nurse Christine Chapel, she was able to feel happy, excited, sad, angry, confused and other minor feelings.
Christine took Luna to the crew lounge and taught her how to play 3D chess. Within moments Luna was winning every game and became what the other crew members called the 'Undefeated Champion.' She had not seen Ray for a long time and asked Christine to take her to his room. When they arrived, Luna thanked Christine and entered the room alone.
The room had cooled down and the temperature was back to normal.
"Ray?" She called, walking over to the bed. Ray was lying down, facing away from her. He had obviously fallen asleep. He began to stir, but Luna sat next to him and eased him back to sleep. She pulled the blankets over her sleeping brother's form and went to sit at the desk, losing herself in her thoughts about her parents. She hoped that the others could find her home.
Then a song flooded her mind. It was a song that Ben listened too. He said it was something from Earth's early-twenty first century. Luna didn't know why she thought of this song, but in a way, she guessed she liked it. She began to sing softly.
"I'm so tired of being here, Suppressed by all my childish fears. And if you have to leave, I wish that you would just leave. 'Cause your presence still lingers here, And it won't leave me alone."
"These wounds won't seem to heal. This pain is just too real. There's just too much that time cannot erase."
By then, Luna had become so involved in that song, that the didn't hear the door open or see Spock come in.
"Am I interrupting something?" Luna jumped and placed a hand over her mouth to stop herself from squealing. She looked over at Ray, who was still asleep. She stood and walked past Spock into the hall. Spock followed.
"I apologise for startling you, I incorrectly assumed that due to our mental link, you would be able to sense me coming." Luna smiled at him.
"It's okay. I was... just thinking."
Spock raised an eyebrow but did not question Luna further.
"I came to inform you that your assistance is required on the bridge. We need your knowledge to help us find your home and return you and your brother to your parents."
Luna became overwhelmed with joy. She was bouncing on the spot and blabbering about how excited she was to get home. She only stopped when she glimpsed Spock shiver, then saw a thin layer of frost on everything. She stood still and took a few deep breaths.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I guess I've been holding in my excitement for a while now. Let me get Ray so he can... warm up the place."
Luna rushed back into the room and to Ray's side. She placed a hand on his shoulder and shook  him until woke. Without an explanation, the whole room flooded with heat causing Luna to become lightheaded. She stumbled to the door but couldn't make it because her legs gave way.
She lay on the floor, darkness seeping in, the sweat making her eyes sting. Luna reached out.
"Spock." And the darkness consumed her.
