Chapter 6:Getting Back

Valeen silenced her friend when she felt the twitch. She flashed her eyes to Cole's face, and another significant twitch from his eyes appeared.

She flinched and went to him closer, putting down the siderails.
"Cole? Sweetie? Are you up?" She said, caressing her love's face.
"I'll go get the Doctor and nurses." Seline volunteered and rushed out.

Stella clenched her hands, smiling in the hopes that Cole is waking up.

He twitched once more and slowly opened his eyes.
Valeen smiled as tears of joy made her eyes sparkle. Cole looked around,grunting, coughing a little. Then he saw his couple,sobbing joyfully.
"V-Val? Boo?" He softly spoke, then he smiled slowly, even his eyes are obviously sleepy.
Valeen sighed with relief and joy, she sobbed once more and hugged Cole by the face, cradling it gently with pure love.

Alice stared at them with awe. Seeing the couple with so much love. she smiled and leaned on the wall crossing her arms and legs.
‘Aww how I wish...’ then a cold air blew and made the back hair stand. She looked back and there was nothing. She turned backto the cuddling couple.

"Woah, slowly, Mama Bear, you, might ,break my ,neck there." Cole carefully said, voice groggy and deep. Patting Val's elbows lightly.

The doctor and his Asisstant Nurse went to check Cole. Since we are crowded on the room, the nurse suggested kindly to wait outside, only Val remained inside.
We are all happy of what happend , Cole is now recovering and everything is starting to get normal, no scary shadow creature, no something else. Just us. No one to bother.

I decided to go back to my room, since my wants are fulfilled already.  Just gonna talk to him later or tomorrow.
Stella stayed outside Cole's room while Seline and Myla joined me walk my way back to my room.
Myla was telling Seline what she missed in the room.

And while she recalled, I feel a little bit envious. Their love lasted for so long about, three years and a half already. I am really happy for Val and Cole, and he's been a good friend to us, treating us pizza, inviting us to pool party. He welcomed all of us as a new family to him.

But I don't know why, I feel weird, I feel like being left behind to all these.
I wish I could also have what they have right now.

Woah.... Wait... Why, did I just say that? Come on Alice! What're you doing? Getting malicious? Snap out of it! 

Myla left,going back to Stella after she had me reached my room. Seline also said she'd be going because of classes and quizzes she must catch up.

I entered the room,and I'm  welcomed with Ley and my mom![?]

"I know girl, you are surprised, but she is your immediate relative so I have to call her." Ley explained why they are here on my room.

"Thanks. A lot Ley." I thanked her with full gratitude.
My mom stood and hugged me, brushing my hair down.
"You've got me worried honey." She gently said. Kissing my forehead.

I heard some pinging sounds  Ley's phone, "Damn followers... They always hurt my phone a lot!" She murmurred, tapping her phone silently.

I mean, why is she problematic being famous? I like how it feels to be on top. But what about her?

Mom parted and told me I should get back to bed and have a rest. She assisted me until I am settled.
She asked some questions if I already asked. Then some other stuffs. She also let Ley join the conversation, it's kinda awkward at all but oh well, we're all close friends here.

After two hours of chat and watching movies on the telly,Ley have to go home, since it's Friday tomorrow and she had a project to finish on her school. And left.
I heard familiar voices afterwards. Then,when the door shut close, one of them became clear. It was Stella's voice.
"He still had a a nerve to mock me after all these?! Unforgiveable"
