DANI'S POV

“Ano? Nacontact niyo na ba?” Pa-sampung beses niya na atang tinanong saamin yan habang paikot ikot sa salas.

Lahat kami ay may hawak na cellphone at kasalukuyang naghahanap ng source kung nasaan si Ate Ly.

Yes. She's missing.

I guess so. But I hope she's not. Ugh. We have no idea where could she possibly be.

Her phone is off. And so as her GPS. She's no where to be found.

Baka nakidnap or something si ate Ly. But hindi naman siguro.

Kasi kinontact namin yung cashier dun sa cafe na pinupuntahan ni Kuya dati. If you can still remember, I'm the one who told her to go there.

She said that Ate Ly's been there. And she even beg for Manong's address.

So we contacted the land lady where Manong stayed. Good thing he still have that old lady's number. And she confirms that Ate Ly's been there also.

And now that we asked everyone that we could possibly think of, we're getting hopeless.

But not Manong.

“Mom, diba may kaklase kang nagtatrabaho sa Philippine Airlines? Can you try contacting her? Maybe napadpad dun si Alyssa,” -Manong.

“Susubukan ko,” sagot ni Mommy.

“Ferdinand, may iba ka pa bang kakilala sa Baguio?” -Manong.

“Meron pa naman--”

“Then call them!”

Napatingin ako kay Kuya Thirdy. I can see how is he holding his temper. Because if Ate Billie is no where to be found also, he would do the same, and he would probably act the same.

“Dad, can you also contact someone  in the Philippine Airlines? Para mas mapabilis tayo,”-Manong.

Tumango nalang si Dad.

Bigla naman akong kinabahan.

I'm scared na baka sigawan din ako ni Manong. I have a very sensitive personality. At napakababaw ng luha ko. Lalo na't I'm not really use to the way he acts right now.

“Dani,”

I gulped.

“Nevermind,”

I sighed in relief.

I'm happy because Manong still knows his limitations at a time like this.

I kept on tweeting my friends on Baguio lang if they ever saw Ate Ly.

And I kept on receiving a 'No' as an answer.

I was reading tweets when I saw this tweet that made my heart beats faster.

I took a glance on Kuya and he still looks depressed.

You can do this Dani, Manong won't be mad at you if he sees this. Think positive.

And just when I was about to tell Manong about the tweet that I saw, Kuya Thirds spoke that left them all shocked.

“Alyssa is in Europe right now,”

The same news that I just found out a while ago.

“Mommy is in Europe? Did she left me again?”

Napalingon kaming lahat sa likod at nakita ko ang pamangkin kong halos paiyak na habang nakatitig sa aming lahat.

We remained silent for a few seconds.
