There was hardly a vehicle on the street when Bella and Octavia made their way back to the Dawn District, and those that they did come across were racing home or some other safe place, with good reason. A few minutes after they had arrived at the museum, reports had cropped up all over the news regarding a district-wide terrorist attack by the Crimson Fall. Every channel, every station, every message on social media urged the citizens of Liberta City to stay indoors and hunker down as best as they could, especially those in the Dawn District, until the incident had blown over.
"And we can't evacuate the district either," Octavia mentioned, frustrated as she listened to the radio next to her partner. "Trying to get them out would only lead to getting both our forces and the evacuees exposed to danger."
Bella pressed her foot down on the pedal as hard as she could. "Right now we can only pray and try to end this quickly."
