Hazel's POV

Parang sirang plaka na paulit ulit yung sinabi nya sa akin nung gabi na iyon.

"Bakit hindi mawala sa isip ko yun?" Sabi sa sarili ko.

But for some others, they will wait few years to meet their mate." Saad nya. "But you know, in my age at 30, I cannot believe that I still have a mate. At first, I thought my mate was dead or probably the Moon Goddess doesn't want me to have a mate because I'm a cold, heartless, and ruthless Alpha who killed many werewolves." Dugtong nya.

Umiwas ang tingin nya sa akin. Ibig sabihin 12 years syang naghintay? Ang tagal non.

"Kailan mo nalaman na ako pala ang mate mo?" Pabulong tanong ko sa kanya.

Tumingin ulit sya sa akin.

Party? Sa pagkaalala ko, umatend nga ako sa acquaintance party. Siguro yun yung tinutukoy nya. Tumango naman ako.

Like I won't let the rogues know about you because they will used you against me and the pack. And I won't let happen like my parents. Woodz killed my father, so as my mother fights against them eventhough she was alone. It's a suicidal. She cannot live without her mate. If your mate was killed or dead, you cannot live without him/her. Either you will suicide or died in illness or depression."

Bumuntong hininga sya. "That's why I didn't tell you before about us being as mates." Pabulong nya sa huli.

'I don't want a mate' Nang marinig ko sa kanya iyon parang may kirot sa dibdib ko. Nasaktan ako sa sinabi nya iyon.

"When we meet again and you name my wolf as Knight, I'm starting to ask myself that why I'm still being close to you or care for you. Time passed by, I decided that I should better to know all about you. And my feelings towards you became stronger and for some changes about myself to be a better being."
