It was a slow night since it was a Thursday afternoon.
After a few hours of the routine of me flipping bottles, serving drunk men, and getting creepy compliments from drunk men, three girls sat at my bar.

"Hey guys what can I get you?" I asked, enthusiastically. "Oh my god, can I just say you are gorgeous?" The one with a short purple bob said. I felt my cheeks blush so bad. "Thank you so much, you all have such cute hair," I said in return. They all thanked me in unison.

"Can I get a PBR?" the curly haired one asked. "Yeah me too," the red head agreed. "Can I just get a vodka tonic," the one who complimented me asked. "Okay, I need to see your ID's," I smiled. I got three drivers licenses. Gabrielle, Carly, and Erin.
"Here you guys go," I smiled. "God look at those dimples," Erin said. I smiled, and grabbed two BBRs, and a vodka tonic.

"Hey- uh"
"Bryn,"
"Bryn- where are you from?" Gabrielle asked after a while of them sitting there and me serving drinks.
"Boston, I noticed your accent too, where are you from?" I asked, leaning on the bar. "Pennsylvania," she said. "Wait your from Boston?! So am I! What part are you from?" Erin said. "Weston," I said, almost in shame because I know shes going to say something about it.

"Oh the snobby part," she laughed. "Yeah, hence why I don't live there anymore," I laughed. "Why did you move?" Gabrielle asked.
"Long dramatic story," I laughed as I cleaned some glasses. "I've got time," she said. "Yeah I wanna hear it," Carly said. I set the glasses down, and gave them my full attention since there wasn't much to do on a Thursday afternoon. "All my family lives in Boston, but my dad and two older brothers went to Yale, so obviously i have to keep up the family tradition." I rolled my eyes. "So I was going to Yale for about two years to become a lawyer. And among those two years I met a guy named Andrew who I started dating. He was nice, but really boring you know? But he never really let me break up with him if that makes sense. He was very entitled,"

"Well he goes to Yale," Gabrielle laughed.

"Exactly. So I wanted something more, and less serious. So I met someone named James... Who just so happened to be my married philosophy professor,"

"Holy shit," Erin laughed.

"Yeah... Then Andrew came home with my best friend and roommate to me on top of James, so I decided I should probably start over,"

"Wow," Gabrielle laughed. "Do you mind if you say what you just said in a vlog?" Gabrielle added. "Vlog?" I asked, cluelessly.
"Is that all you think about Gabbie?" Carly laughed. "It's my job!" she said.

"Your job?" I asked, grabbing Erin another PBR. "We're youtubers," Carly said. "Started out on Vine, went to youtube," Erin clarified. "Wow thats really cool," I said, to them.

Gabbie pulled her phone out and basically had me re-explain the whole story again but to a camera. It was strange.

"Do you have a twitter or instagram? I'll shout you out," she said. "Oh, I don't do social media. I haven't really gotten around to making an account for anything," I said. "We can make it!" Gabbie said. "What no I-"

"C'mon! It'll be fun let me see your phone," she said. I grabbed my phone from my back pocket then unlocked and handed it to her. Then she went to town. She showed me how to use it, and she followed all of their accounts.

"I put my number in there, in case you wanted to hang out sometime" she said, handing me back my phone. I knew I'd probably never see these girls again.

After a few more drinks they ended up leaving (and leaving me a good tip), and I finished up my shift.

I walked the 30 minutes home, and unlocked the front door, then collapsed on the couch.
