Chapter 8

Lauren p.o.v

"Hello everyone, welcome to Quidditch trials I am the captain of the team Shawn Mendes, I'm just going to do a short register to make sure everyone is here ok" The tall brown haired boy says

"Hailee Steinfeld" Shawn yells

"Here" A girl with light brown hair and chocolate eyes spoke quietly

"Harry Styles" Shawn says

"Yea, here mate" The boy with long curly hair and bright green eyes rasped in a thick British accent

"Louis Tomlinson" Shawn uttered

"Yep, here" Louis a boy with also green eyes and shabby hair calls out

"Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello sorry I'm just gonna finish this fast we can't waste anymore time" Shawn speaks rapidly

"Erm I'm not sure where Camila is, she should be here in a minute tho" I informed Shawn

"Ok and also Luke Hemmings, Selena Gomez, Alessia Cara, Troye Sivan, Zara Larsson and finally Joseph Tyler and Josh Dunn" Shawn fired out

"Sorry I'm late" Camila breathed out heavily

"It's fine just don't be late next time ok" Shawn says softly

"Ok everyone get into kit" Shawn commands

"I know, He is so hot" Selena beams whilst putting her shin pads on and then rolling her socks over the top

"So Camila what do you think of Shawn?" Hailee asks

"He seems a cool guy" Camila says vaguely

"You so have a crush on him" Selena blurts out

"He's not really my type to be honest" Camila answered

"Then what is your type exactly" Selena asks

"Well, green eyes, black hair maybe a  pale complexion" Camila spoke honestly. Camila catches Lauren from the corner of her eyes with a sly grin on her face and also her cheeks are rosy red. Camila turns around to face Lauren and smiles at her, the green eyed girl moistens her lips.

"Come on Lo, let's go" Camila smiles and grabs for Lauren's hand and skips along to the pitch

"I do like a women in uniform" Camila whispers into Lauren's ear

"Hmm, me too" Lauren relies with a smile

No one's p.o.v
"Everyone in position" Shawn demands

Everyone gathered into the pitch, they were sorted into 2 small teams of 7's the teams consisted of Camila, Troye, Lauren, Louis, Harry, josh and Tyler  and I'm the other team Zara, Selena, Luke, Shawn Hailee, Alessia and Ariana. The groups decided with each other what positions they were gonna play (Camila as beater, Harry and goal keeper, Tyler as beater, Lauren as seekers and then Louis, Josh and Troye as chasers) and in the other team (Shawn as Goal keeper, Ariana and Selena as beaters, Luke as the seeker and finally Zara, Hailee and Alessia as chasers.

Madam hooch runs into the middle of the pitch and opens a chest containing 4 balls (1 Quaffle, 2 bludgers and the golden snitch)

"Right good luck to everyone, remember only 7 of you will make the team so make sure you shine, when I blow my whistle on 3 I will release the balls and the game will begin, ok, 1,2,3 GO!" Madam Hooch shouts and releases the balls up into the air.

Louis snatches the Quaffle and proceeds to zoom across the pitch and then passes the ball to fellow team mate Josh who then continues up the field and lobs the ball at the 5 point hoop however it is blocked by Shawn. 5 minutes into the game and the score is 10 point a piece after Louis and Josh had successfully scored 5 points each and on the opposition Zara had scored all 10 points. The points keep rising until it reaches 20-25 leaving Camila and Lauren's team behind by 5 points.

Lauren's p.o.v
My team was behind by 5 points and there was no way I was allowing us to lose and possibly loose my dream of getting on the Quidditch team. However so far I had not came into contact with the golden snitch and I could see that Luke had also had not luck either, I could feel myself becoming frustrated however I tried to remain cool. That's until I heard a flapping sound of wings, the colour of gold flew in corner of my eye and then I knew the chase was on. Immediately I began to chase after the golden ball making sure it didn't go out of my sight and then out of no where Luke is fixated to the right of me and is also determined to capture the damn speedy ball.

We both bash into each other trying to un- stabilise each other however this made me lose energy so I just focused on the snitch instead of trying to hypothetically kill my opponent. The snitch began to decent down towards the floor, both me and Luke's broom also began to take the same turn, our brooms picking up high speeds as we continue down chasing after the golden piece of glory. It begins to worry me as we are a matter of 15 feet from the ground the ball was still dropping. Me and Luke both face each other with a worried look on our faces and I begin to pull back to stop myself from hitting the floor, my broom begins to slow down and I manage to not hit the floor with two feet to spare however poor Luke didn't judge it so well and hit the floor in a loud thud, his broom splitting in half and helping in pain on the floor. I knew this was my opportunity to continue, I was so close to the ball practically in arms reach however I would have to move forward on my broom, slowly but surely I begin to rise up onto feet and move to ward the end of my broom, wobbling a little and then leaning forward to catch the ball however lose balance and fall of the end of my broomstick....(I know y'all will hate me for leaving it here but I'm all about controversies)

Hey all decided to leave this Chapter on a cliff hanger because I know y'all love the suspense 😜 really want 10 votes on this Chapter before I update again as this was a very quick update (1 day or less than that) anyway hope you enjoyed the Chapter as I have introduced a lot of new characters (Shawn, Harry, Louis, Josh, Tyler, Zara, Ariana, Troye, Luke, Hailee, Selena and Alessia) and I know a lot of you will be annoyed about Shawn but honestly he's not gonna be a threat at all (trust me on this 😉) -Alisha ❤️
