Chapter 10

Lauren's p.o.v
"So guys today is the day, remember one of you will be wining liquid luck, if you stuff it up you've got no chance so be careful" Snape announces

"Everyone has 5 minutes to set up your cauldron and get your ingredients prepared" Snape adds

"Hey Camz" I smile and kiss her on the cheek

"Hey sweets" She winks

"You ready to win this" I ask

"We're only going to win because you are a potions master" Camila rasps

"And you will be my pretty assistant" I flirt back

"Hmm, ok let's set up then" Camila hums

I grab one of the higher quality cauldrons from the cupboard and place it down onto our designated work station, and then place it onto a stand so a Bunsen burner can be put underneath it. I then proceed to get the Bunsen burner and place it underneath the stand, and then I get all the ingredients out and put them on the side.

"The time starts now good luck everyone, first group to make it successfully wins" Snape calls out

I turn on the Bunsen burner and first of all I add powdered moonstone until the potion turns green and the thoroughly stir until the potion turns blue afterwards I add powdered moonstone until the potion turns purple and then allow it to simmer until the potion turns pink. The next step I add syrup of hellebore until the potion turns turquoise and once again allow to simmer until the potion turns purple.
Then I shake powdered porcupine quills vigorously until they are ready and then add until the potion turns red, I stir the liquid until the potion turns orange. I add more porcupine quills until the potion turns turquoise and allow to simmer till the potion turns purple. Add powdered unicorn horn until the potion turns pink. Stir until the potion turns red and
Allow to simmer until the potion turns purple.
Add more powdered moonstone until the potion turns grey, then I allow the potion to simmer until it turns orange and finally add more powdered porcupine quills until the potion turns white. I look at the Clock on the wall, it had taken me a total of ten minutes and no-one else had seemed to be finished.

Before I try to get Snapes attention a girl in Ravenclaw Zendaya has raised her hand and Snape walks over towards her. Damn it I though this girl was in Ravenclaw a house well known for having clever people in, and there was no way that she hadn't nailed her potion. I clench my fist into a ball and I feel the gentle touch of Camila drawing patterns onto my neck.

"Calm down babe, she might not have even got it correct" Camila whispers

"I'm sorry Zendaya but you have missed the most crucial stage out of mixing dried dragon bone so your potion is incorrect" Snape informs her, the girls face drops instantly almost embarrassed by the fact she had failed to brew a correct potion.

"Sir, we have finished" I yell

"Ok, miss Jauregui" Snape says and walks over towards me and Camila, He looks at the potion and stirs it slightly and gets the ladle and gathers it into the ladle looking at the consistency. A sight of mystery displayed on his stern face.

"Very good Lauren, this is a excellent Draught of peace potion, well done" Snape smile

"Miss Jauregui and her assistant Miss Cabello have won, her you go like I said one vile of liquid luck" Snape hands over the small vile of liquid luck to Lauren.

"Told you not to worry" Camila smiles

"I hate that your always right" I smirk

"You wouldn't have it any other way though" Camila remarks

"No I wouldn't" I mumble

Camila's p.o.v

"Come on Camz, I heard the list for the Quidditch team has been put up Lauren beams and grabs my hand and runs through the hallway towards the Gryffindor notice board.

"Oh Camz I'm too nervous can you please look for me" Lauren asks

"Sure" I say. I look apon the notice board and see writen clearly in italics the following;

Tuesday's news
This is the official line-up for this years Gryffindor Quidditch team, well done to all that have made the team and here is the follow people.
Goal keeper: Shawn Mendes
Beaters: Camila Cabello and Tyler Joseph
Chasers: Josh Dun, Zara Larsson and Louis Tomlinson
Seeker: Lauren Jauregui
Once again a big well done and all the luck for Saturday's game against Hufflepuff - Professor Mcgonagall (head of Gryffindor house)

I gasp in shock not only had Lauren made the team but also me really was this some sort of joke? I hardly had any believe that I would and this is crazy, maybe this is the start of something new.

"Come on Camz don't leave me hanging" Lauren stutters nervously

"You made the team Lauren" I yell in excitement

"Oh my god really, I can't believe it" Lauren screams

"And also guess what" I say

"What, what" Lauren giggles

"I made the team also" I smile

"I'm so proud of you Camzi, I knew you had it in you" Lauren exclaims and pulls me into a tight hug and places a soft kiss on my forehead.

"Such a tease" I mumble

"Am not" Lauren argues

"Sorry but you are babe" I wink

"Babe I like the sound of that but I'd prefer girlfriend" Lauren smirks

"Don't get ahead of our selfs we've only been on one date" I say

"So you don't want to be my girlfriend" Lauren asks

"Yes but atleast take me to dinner first" I answer

"Ok, that can be arranged" Lauren beams
