Immortality

You looked around the place. "Where Am I?" You asked yourself, observing the whole place.

"Shit." You cursed when a cold wind passed by. You soon realized that there's a figure of a man. He's meters away from you but you know it's him by his staff.

"Jack! Jack!" You shouted and ran through him. You stopped in front of the person and you're right. It really is Jack.

He looked down on you. "May I help you?"

You frowned and held both of his shoulders. "Jack, it's me! Inferno Flame!! Your immortal girlfriend!" You tried to make him remember you.

He laughed, which one of the things you missed from him. "That's funny, but by the look on your face, you don't seem to be an immortal. More like an ordinary human for me."

'Ordinary... human...?' You thought as your eyes slowly looked down your hands and it turned from 100% pale yet slightly burnt to (skin color).

You widened your eyes and unconsciously grabbed a few of your hair and your hair turned back to (hair color) and its red streaks are gone.

You shook your head, squeezing your eyes shut and let go of your hair. You stared down on your hands and try to release your power from your palm.

Alas, you miserably can't. You groaned as you tried again. Nothing happens.

Then you saw a water puddle beneath you and realized that your red ringed black pupils turned back to (eye color).

You screamed as you woke up. 'Just a dream, Inferno... just a dream.' You thought, trying to comfort yourself.

When you looked up, you saw Pitch and Penelope staring up on you. Penelope is holding a familiar object, which you suddenly realized that it's...

"MY BATTLEAXE!!!" You screamed and tried to struggle before they do something wrong about it.

"Tsk tsk. Oh how pathetic. You really that you can break free from that trap. For your information, it's made out of Chromium, which almost has 51 atomic weight, and is one of the Early Transition Metals." He bragged.

You mentally smirked. 'I damn did before.'

"And now, my little daughter here will take your powe--" Pitch announced which caused Penelope to roll her eyes and cut him off.

"Dad, I'm not little anymore." She groaned, glaring on him.

"Whatever." Pitch stated, making her look away. "As I was saying, she will take your powers. And if it happened, your immortality will be lost."

That brought you in shock. "What!?" You remembered your dream. If you turn back into a human, Jack won't notice you as a guardian, but just an ordinary human.

You don't want that to happen, right? You struggled from the traps attached on your hands. "Let me go!!"

"Aww why did you just realized that lately?" Pitch teased you.

"Because I thought you're only gonna take my powers!!!" You yelled.

"Well you thought wrong. Your power and your immortality are joined together. If one of them losts, the other one will, too." He explained with a smirk and turned to Penelope. "Do the honors of taking her powers, and her immortality, for your strength."
