Can you imagine how crazy it is around about a week until Christmas? Usually, around this time, my parents are asking me, "What do you want for Christmas?" And they have been, but I don't want anything for Christmas. I have everything--and everyone-- I want. I don't deserve him but I have him, and he's all I could ever ask for.

"Hey, Serenity," Connor says to me.

I turn around to see Connor wrapped in tinsel and strung a few ornaments on it. He placed a "star" on his head which was about ready to fall off. I couldn't do anything but laugh.

"Look, I'm a Christmas tree," he grinned cheesily. That made me laugh harder.

I remembered the wrapping paper, gift bags, and bows were still sitting around somewhere. I found the bag full of bows in the corner of the great room and grabbed a shiny red one. I ran back over to where Connor was standing in the front of the room and stuck the bow to my head and sat "under" him. I hadn't realized my mom was in the room until a blinding flash filled the room. She got a picture of us.

"Okay guys, now let's get a cute one where you're smiling," my mother directed. Connor and I did as told and another flash causing me to see spots went off.

I ran over to her to see the pictures. I saw the first one and loved it. It really was a cute picture. She went to the next one and we were still in the same position but Connor and I were both looking at each other smiling. I was looking up and he was looking down. It seems like his eyes were almost closed because of the flash.

"I like that one," Connor said coming up behind me and pointing to the first picture that was taken unexpectedly.

I looked back at him and smiled. Me too, I agreed. I leaned back to give him kind of like a backwards hug. He snaked his arms around my waist and we swayed back and forth to the silent music. He had to slump down a little to rest his chin on my shoulder. He positioned it to where he was looking at me. He pecked a few little kisses on my cheek. I couldn't help but get that cozy, warm feeling and the fire in the fireplace wasn't even built yet!

"Come on, let's go finish decorating the tree," Connor guided me back to the tree.

I bent over and picked up another ornament and placed it on the tree. I then saw that the tree's skirt was missing... I put the pieces together and saw that Connor had not only taken the skirt off the tree but had also turned it into a cape. I burst into laughter.

"I am the Christmas Saver!" he proclaimed proudly and stuck out his chest and put his hands on his hips. I laughed some more. "Do you need saving young lady?" he asked trying to make his voice all deep in a superheroic way. Between fits of laughter, I nodded my head yes. He swooped over and picked me up, carried me bridal style and led me to the couch. He dropped me there and I bounced a little before setting into the couch.

"I don't think she's breathing!" Connor exclaimed to no one imparticular. "I think she'll need mouth to mouth recessitation." I swear I think I saw him smirk a little. When his lips met mine, a shot of electricity zoomed throughout my entire self. I swear I was actually in a wonderland.

"I sure am going to miss you," Connor mumbled, breaking me from his spell he put me under.

What? I sat up.

"Oh, nothing," he gave me a small smile.

Connor, I signed. Tell me. I'll be okay.
