Connor, I swear you spoil me too much, I signed.

"I do not!" he exclaimed, stomping his foot a little. "If anything, I don't spoil you enough." What could I do but laugh.

"Renny," Connor stated, with his arms held wide open. I kind of furowed my brow when he called me 'Renny' just because of the lack of not hearing it, ever, but I didn't mind the little nickname. It was just weird hearing it for a first time. "I think I need a hug."

I hid my smile by looking down and shaking my head. Once I gained my composure, I looked back up to see he was still in the same position.

And why is that? I asked.

"I feel empty without you trapped beside me," he said, his eyes sparkling. He was still holding his arms out waiting for a body of my stature to wrap around.

Standing in front of you isn't enough? I asked, stalling.

"No," he shook his head. "If you're in front of me, people don't have a clue we're together. Though, if my arm is around you and your head is resting on my shoulder, I get the honor to show you off to the world and say your mine."

Aw. My knees started buckling. I think was the one who needed the hug now. As soon as I met him, instinctively my arms went around his body, needing the support to stand.

"Speaking of showing you off to the world," he whispered into my ear as we were still hugging, "let's go out. Any where you'd like."

I thought about it for a minute. I didn't really prefer we go anywhere as long as I was with him.

I want to go anywhere you want to go, I answered smiling up at his adorable face.

He thought about it for a second. "How does the ice cream shop down the street sound?"

I smiled and nodded my head. Feels like I haven't been there in ages!

"Good." Connor smiled down at me.

I after we'd been standing there for a while I looked up and saw him looking down at me.

What?

"Nothing," he continued smiling. "Come on, let's go."

Sure doesn't seem like nothing, I thought to myself. I shrugged the thought out of my head.

Instead of driving we decided to walk. As we were decending the three porch stairs in front of my house, Connor was typing something into his phone. As he finished his typing, he smiled as he locked his phone and put it away.

Who's that? I asked him.

He seemed distracted with typing a response and waiting for the otger person to reply and all. I poked him in the side. "Huh?"

I wasn't the type to get jealous,  well, at least I didn't think I was. I hadn't ever been in a situation that I could've possibly gotten jealous. I was just a curious person.

Who's that your texting? We started walking.

"Oh, it's no one," he said, checking his phone again.

Well, it has to be someone if you're smiling as you read their texts... My eyebrows started to furrow, giving him a quizzical look.

"I promise you it's nothing to worry about," he kissed the top of my head as we continued walking.

As we came to the corner, we took a right, going my old familiar path to the shop. My stomach started feeling a little queasy.
