so what now? Nic hasn't had the time to teach me how to shift with all the work his brother has been having him do. Colton hangs out with me as much as possible until he feels like he's smothering me. But normally I end up going to find him or sitting in Nics office. I know I was only just changed but I'm becoming impatient. Everyday is a new day where I see smell hear better than the last. Nic warns me not to push it that it'll hurt for my first time but I'm bored. Nic gets busy with more and more rogue attacks so I've been trying not to bother him but it's hard.

I haven't actually talked much with the rest of the pack, Nic hasn't made the announcement about us yet. Every time he goes to something comes up. But I wonder...

I get out of bed quickly before running down the hall to Nic's office. I open the door quietly making him look up and grin immediately. "Hey! Thank god you're here I was loosing my mind with all this paper work." He tells me as I walk in.  "Come here." He waves me over and when I get close enough he grabs my hand and pulls me to him making me sit on his lap. I laugh at his clinginess and kiss his check. "How are you? Feeling ok?" He asks me and I nod.

"I'm fine Nic, never been better." I chuckle wrapping my arms around his neck and better sitting on his lap so I'm not so uncomfortable. His arms wrap around my waist as he leans back.

"So what's up?" He smiles

"Well I was just kinda wondering... what if we did that announcement tonight? There's nothing really going on right?" I ask bitting my lip slightly hoping we could just get it over with.

He raises a brow at that, "actually, today would be perfect. I keep forgetting about it. Actually let's do it as soon as possible. I'm bored with my work and want to show you off to everyone." He grins and I snort before leaning in and kissing him softly. "Let's go find my brother. He can send a message to have the pack meet while we go find our missing mate." He says and I nod getting off his lap. He stands and pulls his phone out of his pocket before pressing it to his ear.

Sending me a quick smile and grabbing my hand he leads me in the hall while he waits for whoever he's calling to pick up the phone. After a second he starts talking and I realize he called Toby. Two seconds later he's already hanging up and sending me a grin. "Well before long the whole pack will be gathered here id say about 40 minutes. Plenty of time to find col. You know for a vampire he's spending a lot of time outside in the sun." Nic mentions and I nod. He's right Colton has been spending a lot of time outside. I know it doesn't necessarily hurt him but he did tell us it made him uncomfortable. Maybe now that it's getting cold out and it's getting cloudy he's not effected as much.

We leave out the house and start to look around for any sign of col. "Know what..." Nic says and I look back at him.

"What?" I question back and he grins.

"This is the perfect chance to start training your new body." He tells me and I raise a brow. Training my body? "Ok hear me out. Just because I've changed you from a human to a shifter doesn't mean you just gain all that strength. If you start training your body now, when you finally do shift it'll be easier for your body to withstand it. You can't avoid tearing your muscles but you can avoid breaking a bone." He laughs and I gulp. What more hasn't he told me? I'm not so sure I even want to shift anymore.

I bite my lip slightly, "um... ok well... what do you mean this is the perfect time to train?" I ask him and he smiles before pulling me into his arms.
