Hope Has Returned Chapter 12 (Ginny's POV)

I could seem to get the words Harry said out of my head 'what if I didn't fall in love with my best mate's sister'. Wow he still loves me! But on a more serious note, he only has a 10% chance he will live. I was nearly crying when Harry called out for the first time since he was restrained by the Healers
"Gin can you come here for a sec?"
"Sure" I replied telling myself keep it cool.
"I was told to follow my heart up in till I die by the Healers so-" and he kissed me. It was wonderful. Once we broke apart I got back up from his bed and walked over to my chair next to his bed. Once he fell asleep my family turned on me
"Now you do what he wants up in till he gets discharged from here because when he kissed you and you kissed back his heart rate picked up which in his case is EXTREMELY good. Understand?" my mom asked.
"Understood" I responded.

(Ron's POV)

Why does Harry have to like my sister soooo much. When he kissed her his heart rate got better. I started drifting to sleep when I started thinking about Harry's speech. He said he is living on what ifs. I agree with him on that. I don't agree with the fact that he will go with the 90%. I know him and he will survive. Just as I thought this I heard a violent beeping noise. Suddenly the whole room was awake. What was the beeping sound coming from. CRAP! It was coming from Harry's heart monitor. I pressed the red button to call the Healers and started telling Harry to stay strong even though I wasn't. What if my best mate died? The Healers came rushing in and as one took Harry away the other looked at us and said
"This is a life or death moment for Harry. We will wake him up so he can say some words quick before his surgery just in case he doesn't make it." He then slapped Harry across the face so he would wake up. Harry woke up saw our worried faces. He looked like hell! His face was white as snow and he was breathing heavily.
"Ron" he said his voice hoarse "mischief managed" he turned toward my mom and dad "thanks mom. thanks dad" he said with a slight grin. He turned toward Bill, Fluer, Charlie, and Percy "thanks" was all he could probably think of. He turned toward George "thanks a lot Gred and I'll tell Forge you say hi" he then turned to Hermione and said "thanks for being there 24/7" then he turned to Dudley "thanks for staying with me just now" at last he turned toward Ginny who was just about to break "Always...." And he was rolled away with frantic voices giving orders.
