Chapter 43

Hope Has Returned Chapter 43 (Ginny's POV)

We flooed back home to see a Death Eater going through my family's stuff. He looked up at us and smiled.

"Where is Potter's house?" he asked with his wand turned on us. I saw Harry behind us in shock.

"Cruico!" he yelled with his wand pointed at me. I braced myself for the pain but it never came. I opened my eyes to see Harry on the ground twitching. He jumped in front of the spell. My dad sent a message to the ministry to get whoever this Death Eater is. The aurors arrived and got him. I bent down next to Harry.

"Harry are you okay?" Hermione asked.

"Internal Bleeding" he said and then started coughing up blood. I had had enough so I ran upstairs to cry. I cried in till Hermione ran up to my room.

"The Healers took him away and he blacked out in the halls." She said patting my shoulder.

"He flipped at the one Healer that messed up his tubes" she added laughing.

"He never changes" I said with a smile.

"Here" Hermione said shoving Harry's stuffed animals into my hands. I hugged them and cried into their silky tufts. I cried myself to sleep that night.

(Harry's POV)

+++time skip 1 week+++

I woke up in St. Mungo's. I saw no one in my room so I pressed the red button to call a Healer. One appeared at my side.

"Are my tubes in the RIGHT way this time?" I asked.

"Yes" he answered.

"How long have I been out?" I asked.

"1 week" he answered.

"Get my friends!" I said shooing him away. I looked around the room to see it covered in balloons.

"HARRY!" Everyone yelled.

"Hi" I said waving my hand. Suddenly I had someone's lips on mine. Ginny had jumped on my bed and kissed me.

"Sorry" she said getting up. I grabbed her around the waist and pulled her back next to me.

"Stay" I said looking into her eyes. She smiled. Just then Draco ran in.

"Harry I'm so sorry about what my father did!" Draco called out next to my bed.

"Your dad did this!" I said back breaking my gaze from Ginny.

"Sadly he did and he now is in Azkaban! He deserves it!" he said with an evil smile. I just laughed.

"It's okay." I said looking at him.

"Thank god!" he said with a smile. Mr. Weasley looked at the two of us.

"Since when?" he asked looking back at us.

"Since the beginning of last year because my dad threatened to kill me if I didn't become a Death Eater." Draco said calmly. Then I had to cough so I did. But I coughed up blood. I looked up at the Wealseys, Hermione, and Draco.

"Oh Mr. Potter you will be coughing up blood a lot now to get it all out of your system" a Healer called out from behind a clipboard. I coughed up some more blood.

"This is disgusting!" I said as I wiped my lips on my sleeve. I then had a coughing fit with blood coming out of my mouth. I grabbed a napkin and wiped my mouth.

"This is very disgusting!" I said.

"How long will this last?" I said looking at the Healer.

"About 2 months" she said like its a good thing. I gave her a 'what the hell' look that made people around me laugh.

"Now Mr. Potter you can leave whenever you want to." The Healer said getting up and then he walked out. I swung my legs over the bed and got up. I walked over to the fire place.

"I'm going to head to my house to check on it" I called out.

"I'll come for dinner!" I added. Ginny then walked over to me.

"I'm coming too" she added and we flooed back to my house. When we got home she went into the kitchen. I walked in to see her washing out her mouth.

"Why are you washing out your mouth?" I asked leaning against the counter.

"Well when I kissed you I got the taste of blood in my mouth and I'm not a vampire so it didn't taste that good." She said still washing out her mouth.

"Erm sorry" I said looking down. I'm sorry for not being able to so anything about it.

"I didn't mean it like that!" She said. Then she hugged me. I hugged her back.

"I'm going to take a nap" I said and I went upstairs. I heard yelling downstairs so I woke up and then walked downstairs with my wand.

"-GINNY NO! HARRY KEEPS PUTTING YOU AND OUR WHOLE FAMILY IN HARMS WAY SO END IT WITH HIM!" Ron yelled.

"NO I WOULD NEVER DO THAT! I LOVE HIM! HE WAS BORN LIKE THAT AND HAD A PROPHECY THAT HAD TO BE FULL FILLED!" Ginny yelled back.

"GINNY BREAK IT OFF WITH HIM!" Ron yelled back.

"Gin Ron has a point." George said.

"No!" Ginny yelled back.

"We all agree Ginny!" Bill, Charlie, and Percy said.

"He is a bad thing! Even though he is my best mate he is a disaster waiting to happen!" Ron said.

"He's like a grenade!" Hermione yelled. I almost fell to the ground hearing all of my friends harping on me like that.

"I'm sorry that you all see me as a grenade. I'll leave so you all don't have to worry about me blowing up. I'c kiss you Finny but you aren't a vampire!" I yelled and ran out the door.

"HARRY!" Everyone yelled behind me.  I apperated to where I got saved by Ron by the lake. I'm never going back!
