Chapter 21

Hope Has Returned Chapter 21 (Harry's POV)

The month of July went by fast and before I knew it my birthday was here. I woke up to Ginny kissing my face.
"Good morning sunshine!" she yelled in my face.
"Good morning annoying!" I yelled back with a laugh.
"Come downstairs and play quittage with me!"
"I don't have a broom." I replied because she knew that I didn't have one. All she did was smile and with that she ran down the stairs. Ron then opened his eyes and looked at me.
"You'll see" was all he said then he got dressed and ran down the stairs. I got dressed and then slowly walked down the stairs. Over the past month I've been working on walking. If I walk for too long I get tired and fall to the ground but I'm hoping I'll get over that. Once I arrived down stairs all the Weasleys and Hermione were holding something behind their backs.
"HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY HARRY!" and they shoved a parcel into my hands. I carried it over to the kitchen table and sat down with it. The Weasleys and Hermione sat down in there spots staring at me. I opened it and gasped. It was another Firebolt!
"OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH HOW WILL I EVER MAKE IT UP TO YOU GUYS!" I said with a giant smile on my face.
"I'm glad you like it." Mrs. Weasley said with a satisfied smile.
"Thank you and I went over and hugged her and everyone else in the room. Once I finally got to Ginny we kissed. Ron coughed and held up his broom so I grabbed mine.
"Let's go" I said with a smile growing on my face. I helped Ginny get her's out of the shed and then we played 1 on 1 quittage with Ron as the keeper. Ginny won because I'm no good at chaser. Once we landed Ginny put her arms around my neck and kissed me. I then wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed back. After what felt like forever Mrs. Weasley called us in for dinner. I thanked everyone for my broom again and ate. I has been told to check my weight once a week. So far I'm doing okay. I weigh 100lbs as of right now. The Healer said that I'm doing a good job to maintain my health. I feel as if 100lbs is good enough so I've stopped stuffing my face every night. After dinner we ate cake. The cake was a golden snitch. I had only a small piece of that because I had eaten a lot during dinner. After words we all went to the sitting room to talk about anything and everything. Ginny was the last to get to the room so she didn't have a seat. She just walked over and sat on me.
"So I'm part of the chair now?" I asked raising my eyebrows.
"Oh my god why is the chair talking" she replied with a smile. Then we kissed for about 15seconds because we weren't alone. Ron continued through his business like we didn't even kiss. Yes! He finally accepted the fact that we are together! Then Ginny went to go upstairs and just before going up the stairs she blew me a kiss so I returned it. Then once she was up the stairs everyone turned on me.
"Go Harry. I give you permission to stay the night in Ginny's room because we all can tell you want to." Mr. Weasley said with a wink.
"Thanks" I said while running up the stairs. Yes I ran up the stairs. I could hear whispering downstairs about how I ran but I wasn't focused on that. I knocked five times in a little pattern so Ginny would know it was me.
"Come in Harry" she called out from within her room. I stepped in and laid down on her bed.
"I'm allowed to sleep in here tonight" I said with a slight grin.
"I heard the whole thing" she said holding up extendable ears. Then she kissed me and I kissed back. Then after what felt like hours we fell asleep intertwined.

(Ron's POV)

Harry just ran up the stairs after Ginny. We were all happy that he ran. After about 2 hours of talking I went upstairs to check on the lovebirds and then I would go report downstairs. When I walked in the room I saw them sleeping intertwined with each other. It was adorable. I raced back downstairs and told everyone how adorable they looked. Then everyone came to look. Harry was laying on his back with Ginny laying on top of his chest with her hair all over. When I showed them this sight they all whispered 'awww'. Hinny or whatever the heck Hermione calls it is going well, I think.
