Chapter 42

Hope Has Returned Chapter 42 (Harry's POV)

I woke up to see lots of blurred faces around me.

"Happy Birthday Harry!" the all yelled. I reached for my glasses but they weren't there.

"Here Harry" Ginny said as she put them on my face. I then pushed my stuffed animals off the bed without anyone noticing.

"Come on! It's your birthday lets go to The Burrow!" Ginny said grabbing my hands.

"I'm not dressed yet." I said.

"Well then come when you are." And she walked out with everyone. I got dressed and then flooed over. I looked into the sitting room to see a Death Eater with his wand pointed at the Weasleys.

"Where is Potter's house!" he yelled.

"Crucio!" he yelled pointing it at Ginny. I jumped in front of it.

"Awww how cute Potter saving the only family he's got!" the Death Eater sneered. The pain I felt was so bad that I could only twitch on the ground and not do anything. I had enough energy to see where I'm being controlled. I was being controlled by my heart. That would mean all of the tubes inside me are exploding right now.

"Oh my I'm controlling you by your heart right now. All of you tubes that kept you alive are being destroyed!" the Death Eater yelled. Then suddenly the pain stopped. I looked up to see aurors surrounding the Death Eater.

"Now Potter when you arrived what happened?" one asked.

"Spell at-" and I pointed at Ginny.

"Okay and why didn't you use your wand?" a different one asked.

"At home and too late". I muttered all that I could get out. Once they all left I was surrounded by the Weasleys and Hermione.

"Harry are you okay?" Hermione asked. I opened my mouth to answer but coughed up blood.

"Internal Bleeding" was all I got out.

"Oh my god! He needs to get to St. Mungo's!" George said in shock. I coughed up more blood and then laid back down. I heard gasps all around me.

"Wha-" I started but then I coughed up more blood.

"Harry these are the Healers they are going to help you." I saw the one blonde who did my tubes wrong.

"Not blondey she is as stupid as her hair color!" I said but coughed up more blood in the process. She looked hurt but then disappeared. I smiled. I was then lifted up onto a mobile bed thingy.

"Coming?" I asked the Weasleys.

"No but Ron, Ginny, and Hermione will come later." Mrs. Weasley said.

"Sorry about your birthday" she added. I waved my hand like 'it doesn't matter' but then I coughed up more blood. Ginny then ran up the stairs crying because I probably look horrid. I reached up toward the stairs. But I then had to use it to cover up more blood that I coughed up. I laid my head down on the pillow I looked around and saw the emergency section of St. Mungo's. I saw lots of people staring at me weird. I then coughed up more blood. I laid my head back down on the pillow I stared up at the ceiling and then saw it getting fuzzy and blurred.

"I can't se-" I started but I then blacked out.
