Hope Has Returned Chapter 19 (Ron's POV)

Once I heard that Harry had woken up when Ginny had kissed him I was filled with excitement. Yes my best mate was alive! But then I thought about how he woke up. Ugh why does Harry have to love Ginny much and Ginny Harry! Well I better apperate to see him. Once I arrived to his room Ginny was sitting on his bed snogging him. I didn't have the heart to break them up so I waited for everyone to meet me outside his room. Once we walked in I yelled "Oi he has been awake for a half hour and has spent 20 minutes snogging you!". That must of done it and right before I was going to start on Harry he weakly put his arm up in front of Ginny to protect her from me but he dropped his arm in pain. I couldn't help but hug him. He looked like a man saving his loved one but dying in the process. Then I heard my mom say something that made Harry happy enough to grab Ginny and snog her. My mom looked startled but when Harry put her back my mom said something that made Ginny pretty much launch herself onto Harry. He winced in pain but only I could hear it. I don't even think he heard it. After 5 minutes of 'hinny' or whatever the hell Hermione calls it Ginny put her hands around Harry's neck. Then Harry put his on her waist. I'm glad Harry waited for Ginny to make the move because I would of killed him. Dudley said something about Harry chasing his dream girl and that made Harry blush. I decided it was time to leave so I grabbed Hermione and walked out. I only barely caught what Harry said. He said don't leave forever but I wouldn't be gone forever. That made me think about when I thought Harry WAS gone forever a few days ago. The Healers said something about unplugging Harry. He somehow must of heard this because he muttered 'Love Ginny'. That was the moment when I reached that Harry truly loves Ginny. After I walked around town and did some shopping I went back to Harry's room. When I went in I saw Harry and Ginny intertwined with Healers working around her. I walked over and grabbed Ginny then I placed her on one of the cots next to Harry. I then pushed Ginny closer to Harry knowing that Harry and Ginny will freak if they can't find each other in the morning. I walked over to one of the chairs and sat down on it.
"What are you guys doing?" I asked the Healers.
"Taking out all of his cords so hopefully tomorrow he can work on getting better." A Healer told me.
"So tomorrow he can leave bed for the first time in a month?"
"If he is feeling strong enough."
"When will he be able to walk?"
"It will mostly just be him getting wheeled in a wheel chair or getting carried. I would carry him because he is so light weight and fragile."
"Oh"
"We will do regular tests on him tomorrow to make sure he isn't underweight because he has gone 2-3 weeks without eating." That made me remember that Harry wouldn't eat about 2 weeks ago and would only respond with one word answers.
"Sir I think it has been about a month since Harry has eaten a meal."
"That should be okay." One word stayed in my head throughout the night. Should.
