Chapter 10: LotteLand Here We Come

Chapter Ten

It was the morning of the trip to lotte land. I got up and turned to looked at the clock. It was 8am so I got up, washed up and changed. I took out a two loose t-shirts and a pair of shorts. We might get wet so I thought I should bring extra clothes. I packed all of my things in my bag and went down stairs. I was half awake because I slept late last night talking to Chan Yeol.

*Last Night*

I washed up and changed into my pajamas. I drank a cup of warm tea and laid in my bed. I set my alarm clock to 8am. It was 11pm and I was drained and tired. I closed my eyes slowly until I heard my phone ring. It was Chan Yeol.

[Chan Yeol: Yo!]

[Me: Hey...]

[Chan Yeol: Wadd up?]

[Me: Nothing getting ready to sleep.]

[Chan Yeol: Nooooo]

[Me: Noo what?]

[Chan Yeol: Don't fall asleep!]

[Me: Why? Aren't you tired??]

[Chan Yeol: No I have insomnia.]

[Me: Ohhh you do? I see... Okay try to stay up a little longer.]

I needed to sleep but I couldn't just leave Chan Yeol. I stayed awake until 2am. I was tired... really tired.

*End of Flashback*

I tied my hair into a messy bun and I was walking extremely slowly towards the kitchen. I grabbed a few boxes of pocky sticks for a snack. I filled up my water bottle and placed it in my back pack. It was almost time for my mom to drop me off at Joo Mi's place, it was 8:30am. My mom came downstairs so we headed out to the car and drove to Joo Mi's place.

I arrived Joo Mi's house and I saw that the guys were already there.

D.O: Good Morning Jenny~

Me: Mmm Hmm ahn-yeong...

I was still half awake.

Baek Hyun: Are you awake? You look tired.

Me: I am... tired...

I gave out a sigh. I just stood there in the garage next to the big van we were going to ride on. Everyone else was using the bathroom and getting ready. I was all set so I just took a small nap standing up.

Joo Mi: Jenny! Are you ready?

Me: Uhh yeah I'm ready...

Joo Mi: I'm still packing. Why don't you wait inside? Come on! Wait inside with the guys.

Me: Mmm hmm okay...

I slowly made my way toward the entrance. I sat on the couch and fell asleep. I woke up and I saw D.O.

D.O.: Am I that comfortable? Hah did you sleep well?

Me: Uhh umm did I...

D.O: Yes you fell asleep leaning against me hah.

Me: Sorry man! I guess that I was really tired.

D.O.: It's okay!

Joo Mi finally came downstairs all ready.

Joo Mi: Let's get going guys! To the van we go!

We all headed to the van and got seated. The guys sat in the back and Joo Mi and I sat in the row in front of them. Moon Ji Eemoh was driving and had D.O.'s mom tag along the trip. We were in the car for a few hours so I slept as much as I could.

Moon Ji Eemoh: We're here you guys!

I awoke from my slumber and turned my head towards the window to see roller coasters.

Me: Whoaaaa!

It was my first time at an amusement park. I was amazed.

We had our tickets paid and printed out so we got in pretty quickly. We first started to head over a green roller coaster with loops in it. The ride looked a bit small but I was proved wrong when we went on the ride.

Me: Hehehe that was funnn!!

Joo Mi: There's other rides too! Let's go!!

We rode a numerous number of rides until we started to get a bit tired. We decide to go for a small drive. There was a ride with cars that you could drive through a path of trees and grass. Baek Hyun was in the front of the line and got into a car.

Baek Hyun: Who wants to ride with me? I'm going to be driving!

Me: I'll ride with you!

I thought that it would be a good opportunity for D.O. and Joo Mi to be alone. Hehe, if ya know what I mean •__•

Baek Hyun drove recklessly saying that it was fun. It was a good thing that the car wasn't real and was attached to the path. We were driving along the path until we saw a squirrel in front of our path.

Me: Watch out! There's a squirrel!!

Baek Hyun stopped right in front of the squirrel. The squirrel suddenly laid down on his belly right in front of the car.

Baek Hyun: Haha look!!

Me: Oh my haha! What is it doing?

Baek Hyun: The squirrel seems a bit to calm.

Me: Most definitely.

The squirrel left and we continued to drive. I looked back to find D.O and Joo Mi. I saw them and let out a smile. I was happy for them.

Baek Hyun and I got off the car and started walking to a nearby bench waiting for D.O. and Joo Mi.

Baek Hyun: I heard that you're D.O. and Joo Mi's bridge. Are you planning to just live as a bridge? Shouldn't you care for yourself?

Me: Haha I don't mind being a bridge... I'm doing it for them because they mean a lot to me. I think of them first, that's the sacrifice of being a bridge. I might end up living as a bridge... it's okay... I'll be a cat lady!

I tried to pull out a joke. I didn't think that being a bridge was a hard role until i heard what he had said.

Baek Hyun: It's nice that you care for others but think and care for yourself too.

Me: I will... don't worry about me.

Joo Mi and D.O.came towards us as they got off their car.

We were walking all together but something seemed wrong with D.O. Joo Mi and Baek Hyun were chatting walking side by side.

Me: D.O. is something wrong?

D.O.: Hmm?? Nothing's wrong... Why are you asking?

Me: You sure? You seem off a bit...

D.O.: Yup I'm good... just a bit nervous about riding the drop tower. Joo Mi's making me ride it.

Me: Ohhh haha you'll be fine!

I gave him a friendly punch.

We all got on the ride. I sat next to Joo Mi and she sat next to D.O.. Baek Hyun sat next to D.O. the seats rose up to the top of the tower. I was extremely excited but also nervous. When we reached the top I screamed.

Me: EOMMA! YOU SEE ME? I THINK I CAN SEE YOU! IT'S SO HIGH! EOMMA!

I thought that the ride was going to drop but it took ten seconds before it did. I heard my screaming getting muted as I was speechless. We all got off and I had a weird tingling feeling. I strangely liked the feeling.

Me: D.O. it was fun wasn't it?

D.O.: I guess.

Hmm... D.O. seems off.

Me: Are you okay?

I turn to see Joo Mi with Baek Hyun having fun chatting and teasing each other. I tried to cheer up D.O. but he just became quieter. What's happening?
