Chapter 30: Valentine's Day

Chapter Thirty

*February 13th*

*What to do... What to do...*

I was thinking about what I should do on Valentine's Day.

*Well, making chocolate is a must! Maybe I should make a chocolate house cake!!*

I got my laptop to look up some examples of chocolate house cakes.

*Heh! I found a perfect example.*

I got all of my baking and decorating materials. I first baked some cake to start off. While the cake was baking, I started to make the chocolate walls of the house along with some other house parts and decorative pieces.

*DING*

*The cake must be done.*

I took out the cake and left it to cool. It was too hot to be cut.

*30 minutes later*

I carefully took out the strawberry cake out of the cake pan. I then cut it to a shape of a house.

*Perfect!*

After shaping the cake, I attached the white chocolate walls along with a dark chocolate roof. Things went a lot smoother than I thought. This was the first time I've made a chocolate house cake.

*Now! Decorating! My favorite part... c:*

I attached chocolate windows and a door. I then made two bears from a chocolate molds.

*It's a bear couple~ Hehe, how cute!*

I stuck on some hearts and stars to the house, making it very cute and pretty~ I thought in would be cute to add macaroons to the cake so I did! I looked quite pretty.

*I hope D.O. likes this~*

I was smiling as I carefully placed the house in a cake box. I was finally done, it was already 12am.

*Dang! I should get cleaning or else... Umma will get angry at me... o_o*

After cleaning up the kitchen, I hurried up to my room, washed up and went to sleep.

*Next morning*

I woke up stretching my arms, yawning...

*Ah... What time is it?? It's already 11am?*

I rolled out of my bed and texted D.O.

[Me: Yah, Oppa-ah~ What are you doing today? Can I stop by?]

[D.O.:Hmm~ You can my Jenny. But... No one else is going to be here. My parents went out to drop off my sister to her college dorm. They're going to be out the whole day...

[Me: Oh okay, I'll stop by at.. hmm... 6pm okay?]

[D.O.: Okie Dokie~ I'll be waiting!]

*What else should I do? Hehe~ I should sing him a song~ c:.... But what song...*

I sat back at my desk to look up for some cute love songs.

*Hehe~ This song is perfect!*

I found the chords to a valentine's day song. I chose Kina Grannis' Valentine c:

I went over the chords and gave the song a run through....

*Okay... Let's try this.*

After practicing for a few hours. I wanted it to be perfect.

*Oh my!!! It's already 5pm!!!*

I got up and started to get dressed...

*I wanted to dress up extra nicely today... :c *
