Chapter 11: Bittersweet Trip

Chapter Eleven

*Is D.O. perhaps jealous of Baek Hyun talking to Joo Mi? Are you freaking serious...?*

Me: D.O just chill. I told you she likes you. Have some confidence man!

D.O.: Yeah I know but still...

Me: DUDEEEEE

D.O: Okay-y... I'll try to act normal.

The day was almost over. We were done playing, we were all tired. It was 7pm so we headed over to the van to go home.

Baek Hyun: Ahh... I'm hungry!

D.O.: Meee tooo

Me: Haha do you guys want some pocky sticks??

Baek Hyun: Ooooo yes please!!!

D.O.: Jenny!! Gimme!!!

Me: I'll give you guys a whole box if you play the pocky stick game!

Joo Mi glared at me because she knew EXACTLY what I was thinking. I just gave her a smirk.

D.O.: What's that?

Me: I'll show you. Baek Hyun stay still okay?

Baek Hyun: Uhh Okay!

I grabbed a pocky stick and stuck the end of it in Baek Hyun's mouth. I starting eating the pocky stick from the other side. Everyone was quiet. I started eating the cracker until I was an inch away from touching him lips. My heart was beating so fast so I stopped there.

Me: Like this! Baek Hyun, thanks for being my partner.

I tried not to blush.

Baek Hyun: Hah uhh your welcome. ^^'

He rubbed the back of his neck with a flush of red on the sides of his cheeks.

Me: Now your turn! Hehe! Baek Hyun and my pocky stick is an inch and a half long. You just have to beat that.

Joo Mi and D.O. looked at each other.

D.O: Okay! I'll accept the challenge! Let's win Joo Mi.

Joo Mi: Hah... Okay...

She said blushing.

I placed the pocky stick on the edge of Joo Mi's mouth and Joo Mi closed her eyes. D.O. slowly made his way to Joo Mi's lips eating the cracker. I looked up at Baek Hyun and winked at him and he winked back. Baek Hyun slowly pushed D.O.s head towards Joo Mi's as I pushed Joo Mi's head toward D.O., they were really close but pushed Baek Hyun and Me back.

Joo Mi: Yah!! You guys! What was that for??

D.O.: Yeah!!! Why did you do that?

Baek Hyun and I were laughing so hard seeing Joo Mi and D.O.'s face turn into a bright shade of red.

Me: Haha don't be soooo angry!! We were helping you win!!

D.O.: Fine then hurry up and gimme!!

I switched seats with D.O. and handed him and Joo Mi their own box and Baek Hyun and I shared a smaller pack. D.O. seemed normal again after sitting next to Joo Mi. I looked them flirting and getting along. Baek Hyun and I were a bit calm and quiet so I started a conversation.

Me: Baek Hyun are you ticklish? I think D.O. said that you were really ticklish?

Baek Hyun: Umm NO! I'm actually not ticklish at all...

Me: Haha really!

I smirked.

I tickled him until I saw he laughing telling me to stop.

Baek Hyun: Hahaha OKAY IM TICKLISH!! Stop! Ahahaha!

Me: Haha Dude! You're hot!!!

I didn't realize in how wrong that sounded. D.O. and Joo Mi turned around.

Me: No! It's not what you think! I meant his body's hot.... TEMPURATURE wise!!

Baek Hyun: Oooo Jenny I didn't know that you thought of me like that!

D.O.: Me either! Haha Jenny you think Baek Hyun's hot? Haha!

Me: No! I meant his body was warm! Hot temperature wise!

My face felt hot and i knew i was blushing. I felt embarrassed... Baek Hyun looked and me and pinched my cheeks.

Baek Hyun: Your cheeks are chubby like a chipmunk! Hehe, they're so squishy! D.O.! Try pinching Jenny's cheeks!

Me: Yah!! I'm not a chipmunk!

D.O. turned around and pinched my cheeks too...

D.O.: Ohh hahah they are squishy! And you do look like a chipmunk! Hahah

Me: Yahh!! Stop teasing me!!

I pouted.

An hour had passed and Joo Mi and D.O. fell asleep leaning their head against each other. They looked really adorable. As for me and Baek Hyun, we were still awake.

Me: Baek Hyun... I kinda heard that you like this girl...

Baek Hyun: Oh yeah Ye Rin? You heard? I've liked her for a while but she rejected me. Someone told me that she liked me though at one point. I guess my timing was off. She likes this other guy now.

Me: Oh... I see...

Baek Hyun: Is there anyone that you like?

Me: Oh me? Ummm

*Yes, you Baek Hyun*

Me: Not really...

Baek Hyun: Stop lying! Truthfully I thought you liked D.O. but just never told anyone. Am I right?

Me: Haha nope! You're wrong! I actually don't like anyone. I'm a bridge remember?

Baek Hyun: Oh right... but that doesn't mean you should keep your feelings to yourself.

Me: Well... I guess so... I don't know...

Me: ah.... Tired... well I'm sleeping.

Baek Hyun: okay good night

*The Next Morning*

I woke up wondering where I was. I swear I was sleeping in the van. I grabbed my phone and texted Joo Mi.

[Me: Joo Mi-ah what happened last night?]

[Joo Mi: You fell asleep in the car, I was trying to wake you up but you wouldn't budge. You are one heavy sleeper. Yeah and so D.O. carried you to your room.]

[Me: Oh... wow um okay. Hmmm well did you have a good time yesterday?]

[Joo Mi: Yeah it was fun I got to know Baek Hyun a lot more. D.O. was acting a bit weird though after the drop tower... why was that?]

[Me: Let's just say that he didn't like the fact that you were so close to Baek Hyun.]

[Joo Mi: What? Oh wow that dumb.]

[Me: It's because he's "insecure"]

[Joo Mi: But still! Does he perhaps know that I like him? Didn't you tell him?]

[Me: I did, and he said he liked you back.]

[Joo Mi: Ugh I don't understand guys.]

[Me: Haha yeah... just try to forgive him...]

[Joo Mi: Okay I guess. I hope we don't get awkward...]

[Me: Don't worry! I won't let that happen!]
