I entered the dance studio with my head held high as people stared at me. I was getting sick of all the stares today. My father had agreed to let me ride along with Amanda to the airport. She had to go home, although she said she would be back for the wedding.

I knew modeling for her was bad. I'm all over the news. They say I'm getting married to my body guard! As if, I like Austin but I'm sure I would never marry him and not just because he's my guard. He's a nice guy and all but I can't imagine any future with him.

Worst of all, everyone is trying to contact me as a model. My father is pissed. He keeps getting e-mails and calls. I never wanted this to happen. It's all a big mess! I'm frustrated with myself and I have a huge headache.

Debbie stood at the front desk, looking as furious as my dad. "I don't care who they are you say I'm not here. Anything that has to do with Taylor, you hang up!"

"But Miss Gray-"

"Don't question me! I don't care if it's rude. Get me a pill for my big headache, I'll be in my office."

"Make that two pills." I said. Lily quickly nodded her head and got up. My guard and I followed Debbie to her office. He stayed outside the door while I went in and took a seat. "I'm sorry." I whined.

"It's not your fault, sweetie." She gave me a water bottle. "I told you to be careful with the media."

"I know mom, and I tried to get away from it but Amanda is my friend and she made me feel like I had to do the favor." I explained even thought she wasn't asking for it.

"I'm not mad, just annoyed by all the calling and e-mails. They'll get over it. It'll just take a while."

There was knock on the door before Debbie called for them to come in. It was Lily who had our pills. I took them from her and she left. I got one and handed Debbie another.

"Feel free to go explore a bit. We'll go home as soon as I get some calls done." She said.

I took my pill and got up, leaving her office, my guard following. There were many people going up and down the hall. I went to the end of the hall and turned. I knew where I was going. It was the room Layla practiced in. I wanted to see her before we left.

I was about to enter the room when I heard a giggle. I knew that giggle way to way. Layla was coming down the hall with a boy. His black hair styled in a comb over, his brown eyes squinted as he laughed.

How cute

"Taylor!" She yelled as she saw me. She ran towards me and I had to pick her up in a big hug. "What are you doing here."

"I was passing by and decided to take my mom home already. But I really wanted to see you." I put her down. "Who's your friend?"

"Oh, this is Miguel. Miguel, Taylor." She said. "He's knew, and I was showing him around."

I shook the little boy's hand. He was a little shy but have me a small smile.

"Are you going to stay for my practice?" She asked.

"I can't, I have to go home."

"Are you going out with Kyle?" She asked in a small whisper.

"Kyle is just a friend." I said. "Don't worry okay. Do you want to sleep over?"

"A sleepover!"

"Yeah, I'll call your mom and ask okay." I said.

"Okay." She beamed. I opened the door to the room and they walked in.

I closed the door and walked away. I want back to Debbie's office but she wasn't there. I sat on her chair looking at the framed pictures. Most of them were of me and her. Then there was one of me and James. I felt as if he was watching me. I pulled the frame down to hide the picture.
