~*James' POV*~

She sat quietly under the light of the moon. Just sitting there, starring into the distance. The water from the pool reflecting into her skin.

She was really upset. When Amanda called, the police were able to get her location. Before Taylor could even end the call the police had already left, to Kyle's house where they were. When they got there, they only found the cell phone.

"It's almost time." I said taking a seat next to her. She swung her feet around in the water.

"I know..." She whispered.

I looked at the police men who surrounded us. Taylor couldn't be alone and neither could I. But Taylor needed air and wanted to come outside.

I scooted close to her, and grabbed her hand. She slowly leaned her head in to my shoulder. "Remember when I used to tell you, let's run away together?" She whispered.

"Of course. I remember we would always bring it up."

"Let's do it. After we get Thomas back, and put our enemies in prison, let's run away."

"Wouldn't you miss all of this?" I asked her.

"I don't want to remember this. If I were to get a brain glitch, I would hope that I don't remember any of my bad experience in this town."

"What about your father?"

I felt her shrugged. "I feel like he was never there. I didn't have a father. And you can't just throw a man in my life and make me call him dad. I have been trying, but I feel like I'm acting out a role." She said. "Don't get me wrong, if Debbie and him have a baby I'm sure he would be a great father. And I'm not saying what happened with Fred is his fault. He's a great man. And an inspiration."

"That he is, he's a hard working man." I said. "I agree with you, let's do it. We can live in a small house far from everyone."

"I want that."

"Just you, our baby, Molly, Me, and even Thomas." I said.

She lifted her head off my shoulder looking at me. "Thomas? You would want to adopt him to be ours?"

"Yes. I would love to."

I finally saw a small smile on her beautiful face. She stared into my eyes as if trying to read me. "I love you James. I love you with all my heart." Her eyes got glossy. "You made me the way I am. Without you, I wouldn't know what love is. I wouldn't be dreaming of a future. I would probably be dead by now. And I'm not, thanks to you." Tears slowly ran down her cheeks. "Will you marry me?"

Did she just ask me to marry her?

"Aren't I the one who's supposed to ask?"

She a gave me a small laugh before she sniffed. She shook her head. "Will you marry me?" She asked again.

"Yes." I blinked trying to be tough. "I will marry you."

She sniffed again and gave me a big smile. She leaned in kissing my lips slowly. "I love you so much." She mumbled against my lips.

"I love you even more."

She pulled back looking at me. "I'm sorry, some bitch ruined your birthday."

"Don't worry about it. For now let's just remember that for when we see that bitch so she can get what she deserves."

She leaned my head against my shoulder again. We sat in silence once again. She held my hand keeping it warm. She continued to swing her feet in the water. Suddenly she laughed.
