Kyle wasn't a bad guy. Our conversations were interesting. He seemed to care a lot about me. But I knew he wanted us to go further in our friendship.

I was torn knowing James didn't like seeing me with Kyle. I was hurting him, but I didn't want to do it on purpose. With Kyle taking me out on dates and us hanging out I felt like I was cheating on James. Something I dared not to do. At least not from my part. But Detective Dave had other plans.

Get a sample of his writing, he said.

How hard could it be?

We let me tell you people don't write letters for fun anymore so getting Kyle to write was in fact a hard task.

"Finding Nemo."

"How did you know?" I asked.

"It was a lucky guess."

"Okay one more." He said.

"It better not be hard, I keep losing." I said.

"I'll go easy on you."

"Fine."

I watched Kyle draw the dashes on the napkin. We've been playing hangman for half an hour now and I suck. My man always ends up completely hung. Maybe I wasn't doing something right.

"Hold on, I have to go to the men's room." He said.

"You sure you're not going to the woman's." I muttered.

"What was that?" He asked.

"I said that sure is an ugly woman. The one that just walked by." I have him a smile. "Go on, I'll be waiting."

He shook his head slightly as if indicating that I was crazy. I looked at the napkin he had left there. This game was going to have four words.

I looked down at my sandwich. It was a great lunch, but I felt bloated and tired. I wish Kyle would see that and let me go home already.

My phone vibrated on the table making me jump. I quickly grabbed it and answered, seeing as it was James.

"Is this a wrong time babe?" He ask.

"On my lunch date with Kyle, but he went to the restroom. What's up?"

"I'm being transported to the dance studio to leave Molly. Shoot me a text if you can come and see me." He said.

"Of course I'll go. I'll try to get rid of Kyle." I whispered not wanting anyone to hear. I saw Kyle making his way back to the table. "He's coming."

"See you in a bit, Love."

"Yes of course Ma'am, I'll see you in 20 mintues, thank you for helping me, I appreciate it." I said hanging up as Kyle sat down. I put my phone in my pocket and took a bit of my sandwich.

"Business call?" He asked. I nodded and kept chewing my food.

"I have to go, but let's finish up the game." I said

"Alright, you ready?" He asked picking up the pen. I nodded again.

"Is there an A?" I asked.

He nodded and wrote it down. It was the third word. "Um E?"

He nodded again and wrote an E at the end of the first set of dashes and the second. The second word had two letters and one was E, so I had to think very hard about it. "H." I said.

"Nope." He smiled drawing a circle for the head.

"B." I guessed. He shook his head. He gave my man a neck.
