Chapter 5
*Luke’s POV*
Katherine? What was she doing here? So Ross planned to take her here for a date.
This was one weird coincidence. Even though it was very dark, I could still see that jerk sitting two seats away from mine. I was staring hard at him and before I knew it, Ross made his way to the bathroom too. Was he following Kat?
“Luke! Snap out of it, we’re supposed to be watching a movie… remember?” Claire told me, cutting me off from my thoughts.
I waited for about three more minutes. That’s it. What the hell is that jerk doing in there for so long? I decided to go to the bathroom too.
“Babe, where you going?” Claire asked but I did not consider it important to reply back.
“Ross, Ross, get off of me! Ross please stop!” I heard Katherine’s pleading coming from the bathroom.
I entered it without knocking and there I saw Ross was kissing Katherine’s neck and rubbing her ass.
“No way Kat! This is way too fun” I heard him saying, looking amused.
I know I wasn’t thinking straight but I gave him a blow right on his face. One more, yea and then the blows were followed by several pounds on the chest.
I noticed he got a black eye and his nose was bleeding profusely.
“Get near her again and I tear you apart, limb by limb” I warned him.
“Lets get out of her Katherine. Now.” I told her in my most serious voice.
She quickly followed me and I led her by my hand to the car.
*Katherine’s POV*
Oh my gosh. Luke saved me. But he wasn’t supposed to see that and to make it worse, he had the most angriest look on his face. He was driving me home and broke up my relationship with Ross for me by warning him not to get near me again. I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing or saying right now.
“Lu-“ I said and was quickly interrupted by Luke
“No Katherine, I don’t know what to do with you! When are you ever going to mend your ways? How can you let some jerk take you for a date, especially when you’re wearing that. And when he literally puts his mouth on you and rubs your ass, all you do is plead for him to stop? How the hell can you be so weak?”
Shit. He was really angry and worst of all, he just told me what he thought of me, a weak girl who couldn’t stand up for herself. Which I do agree was true.
I could feel the hot tears building up and before I knew, they began rolling down my cheeks.
“Kat, I didn’t mean to make you cry. I’m really sorry.” Luke said and then stopped the car by a lake.
“Come on. I think it will be a good idea if we get out of the car for a while and sit by the lake” Luke suggested.
I shook my head in approval and he smiled at me, grabbing my hand as I got out and we walked together towards the lake. I had taken off my shoes in the car so I could feel the soft grass beneath my feet. It was such a romantic and calm place, especially at night.
*Luke’s POV*
I hurt her feelings in the car. It was only best to take her out for some fresh air by the lake.
We made our way towards the lake and she leaned against the grass. Katherine was always so cute. Especially when she did things like laying on the grass next to a lake. I decided I should also lay on the grass next to her and stare at the sky.
“Luke?” I heard her soft voice saying
“Yea?”
“I’m sorry, about everything. You’re right Luke, I am weak” I heard her say. Her voice was uneasy.
I quickly grabbed her hand and she changed her position by laying on top of me and staring at my face. Katherine is so beautiful, with her large green eyes and perfect pink lips and clear fair skin.
I put my hand on the back of her neck and drew her face closer to mine, like real close. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to be doing this. I placed a soft kiss on her cheek, then one more a bit closer to her lips and before I knew it, my last kiss landed on her lips. Our lips felt entwined for about three seconds and her soft lips were crushing against mine in the dark. I broke the kiss quickly and stared at her for a second and before I knew it, she placed her lips on mine again.
“Oh umm whoa” I said, quickly moving her neck back and backing up.
We both stood up together and our distance which seemed like three millimeters before seemed like three feet now.
“We weren’t supposed to do that” she said quickly, panicking.
“Ya” I said back, ruffling my hair.
“This was so wrong. Oh my god what the hell did we just do!” Katherine exclaimed in real panic
“No one has to know about it, it was an accident after all” I told Kat
“Yea, umm let’s pretend it never really happened” She told me and we sat in the car.
The rest of the car drive was extremely uncomfortable and to make it worse, we weren’t saying anything to each other. As home came, Katherine and I rushed to our own rooms and locked the door.
I can’t believe I kissed my sister. Okay maybe she isn’t my sister since we have different parents but still, whoa.
