Hi there, my name is Melissa Petunia Evans...when i was only a year old my parents were murdered by a man called the Dark Lord. My dad's best friend Remus Lupin told me that he tried to kill me and my twin brother Harry. I don't remember much about it just a flash of green light. Remus told me all the details as he was there visiting mum and dad that day and took me after the attack. He says after he left mum and dad he went to visit Bathilda Bagshot 3hrs later he came back to the house and saw it in ruins. He saw i was in the living room with dad, dad was on the floor dead. He went upstairs but didn't see Harry only mum, also dead. He took me back to his home and contacted a man named Sirius Black. Sirius was furious and left after Remus told him mum and dad were dead. He contacted a man named Dumbldore, he let Remus know Harry was alive and allowed Remus to raise me, he felt we would be safer separated. That was 2years ago. Tomorrow is my birthday. I'm finally 11.

Hi. My name is Harry James Potter. I live with my Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon and my cousin Dudley. I hate it here. I know they don't really like me. I'm always getting punished. This time i've been punished for "ruining" Dudley's birthday and having tons of letters sent to me by an unknown person. I haven't been able to read any cause Uncle Vernon destroys them before i can. He made us leave the house and brought us to this hut in the middle of the sea. I'm on the floor counting down the hours till my 11th birthday. I've always felt as if some part of me is missing...aside from my parents(Aunt Petunia told me they died in a car crash when i was one..strangely i only remember a flash of green light and screaming). 2 hours and i'll be 11 i just hope things will be different this year
