Norman's POV~
"Stupid stupid stupid!" I stabbed my finger to the side of my head as I entered the main room of the police station. I can't believe that once again she managed to slip out of from my hands.
The one thing that I can't control.
I jumped over the dead bodies of my companions and stayed strong emotionally as familiar faces to me were now dead.
All because I can't respond to her need.
Right by the entrance, Owen where just moments ago was laughing and causing trouble for me, had his eyes open with no life in them.
"How did she do this when she was with me the whole time?!" I yelled to the empty still room.
"Because she didn't." A voice spoke.
I pulled out my gun and spun quickly on my heels to see a woman standing in front of me.
"That thing," She eyed at the gun with disgust. "Won't do no good for you."
"Oh," I slowly put my gun away on my back pocket. "You're one of them. HER to be exact."
"Ah that Valerie. She has been trouble since when she was in my high school."
I remembered her as Mrs. Trinity. The same one who took my blood the first time and the one who was mentioned by Valerie so many times.
"I'll make sure to take away that position you have at the highschool." I threatened her.
"When will that be?" She smirked.
It was hopeless competing with a vampire. There was simply no way to beat them. I was powerless compared to them.
"Hmm." Her lips went straight. "Your silence shows me your confident."
"You had my blood so what do you want now." I changed her the topic.
"Well since Valerie is going to have you all to herself I thought, why not make their lives a living hell..."
"Wait what?" My mouth dropped.
"You heard me." She frowned.
"W-why?"
"Because you're our trophy you idiot. Can't you see the big picture?!" Mrs. Trinity flapped her arms. "Ever since Valerie and I found out about your precious existence, you have become our main goal to live internally. Forever and ever. Without you, we are but just mortals sucking on blood. We need your blood Norman..." Her eyes flashed red. "We desperately need it."
I took a step back as she took a step towards me. As I looked at Mrs. Trinity I couldn't help but to imagine Valerie instead.
Ever since I met Valerie, my whole life has turned upside down drastically. But even in those drastic moments, my heart would beat at her sight.
Why was I feeling this towards her?
When I hate her....
"Go ahead," I rose a hand to stop her from taking another step towards me. "Make my life more hell than what it is already."
"Are you sure Norman." She dragged her leg towards me like if it was broken. I looked down at her leg and sure enough a long gash ran down her leg. Her eyes turned to slit as she followed my gaze to her leg.
Maybe I might already knew their weakness.
I couldn't help but to smile biting down on my bottom lip. The answer was in front of me all along. Flashes of memories passed by my head as I remembered what Valerie last said to Ryan before he ran out.
