Valerie's POV~
Outside from the court I waited for my trial to begin. I was in no mood for this nonsense. From the distance, Norman's cop car drove slowly and ended up parking behind mine.
"I see you're still driving." He had this smug look on his face as he got out from the car.
"How else was I suppose to get here?" I tapped my foot in annoyance with my arms crossed over my chest.
"I was hoping you were not." He muttered.
A smirk spread to my lips as I realized this was just as hard for him as it was for me. Earlier on my way here I had went through many plots. Plots that would save me from all of this stupidity. Little does Norman knows what I've already done.
"Hmm..." Norman caught my calmness and his eyes went to the building.
Not a single presence showed that the court was open.
"What did you do Valerie?" His eyes burned into mine.
"Nothing!" I defended myself.
"Then why is no one here?"
"Don't look at me." I rolled my eyes. "I am here no? It's not my fault that the judge is not here." I smiled showing all of my teeth and keeping my fangs in from coming out.
"The judge?" Norman's eyes went round as he caught my little hints. "It's time for the trial why hasn't he showed up yet?"
"Does it looks like I know?" I cocked an eyebrow.
"I can't believe this!" Norman bursted out loud and ruffled his hair in frustration.
"Calm down everything will be okay." I got to his side and grasped his hands onto mine. "Everything has a logical explanation."
"Logical? What do you know about logics?" He laughed with no humor.
"I know more than I look." I squeezed his hands.
His eyes slowly went to our holding hands. I followed his same gaze and I couldn't help but feel accomplished. This was actually the closest I've ever gotten to him without him rejecting me. He slowly squeezed my hands back and looked up at me with a small smile on his lips. A little squeal screamed in my heart as a dimple formed on his left cheek making him hotter than what he was already.
"You're trying too hard." His voice came out as a whisper.
"What?" I gulped as I realized I was staring too hard at him.
"All of this?" He pulled my arm in the air. "Doesn't works on me." His smile disappeared bringing his seriousness back on.
"I'm not doing anything." I felt taken back.
"Then what are you doing to me?"
His eyes darkened making an unknown expression cross his face. His lips slowly formed into a smirk and he took a step towards me until he was looking down on me. A hand went up and placed a strand of my hair behind my ear. I couldn't help but close my eyes and keep my purring in my chest as he slowly traced the side of my face.
"Why are you ruining my life." His lips brushed my ear.
"I-wow..." A moan escaped my mouth as I felt electricity run through my veins. Never have I felt this feeling before. Just his touch tensed my body on fire. I've been with many men before but this....this was something I couldn't control.
"I hate you." He whispered it to my ear and took a step back to see my eyes.
"Says the one who gave me the ticket." My eyes went lost in his dark forest green eyes. "How do you think I feel about you?" My hand shot quickly to his neck. I slowly traced the side of his neck.
"I'm still not done with you." He placed his hand on top of mine which was tracing his neck.
"Give up Norman..." I purred his name out. "I just know you can't resist me. I know you want me."
"I know for sure you do."
"Oh I do." I admitted. "I want you to myself." I licked my lips.
"This obsession..." His eyes went up and down looking at me,"Won't make me change my mind about you."
"Who says its an obsession?" I fluttered my eyes. "It's called Need."
"What do you need from me?" He leaned close to me.
"Everything."
I was about to close the gap when he did it for me. His lips came crashing down on me catching me on surprise.
Oh sweet victory!, I thought.
I knew it he couldn't resist me. No man could resist the tempting me. His lips moved in perfect sync with mine and before I could get hungry for more, he parted from me and a mischievous smirk spread to his lips.
Odd.
The one who should be smirking like that is me not him. I won by making him fall for me so why is he smiling like a doofus? He was the one who just lost for me.
His lips were covered in my red lipstick making me wish he stayed longer. He walked backwards to his car with that smirk on his face. He said nothing and in a flash, he stepped the gas and disappeared his car in the distance.
I stood in my place and traced my lips where moments before his were the one dominating mine.
"Oh Norman.... If I was normal I would say you are the one driving me crazy." I closed my eyes.
Just his kiss made me forget why I hated him in the first place.
I hated him.
I hate him like no other.
I hate how he makes himself hard to get.
I hate how he likes to be chased down.
I hate him for giving me a ticket overall.
If he never stopped me that day he would have never lost his girlfriend because of me. He also wouldn't be in court trying to win the demanding. I opened my eyes and I slowly pulled out from under my dress a knife.
Because of him poor Judge never came out from his house.
Dry blood crusted on the tip of the knife. I managed to get away this time but before I go back in the court, I will have by that time Norman's blood.
It was his blood making me go crazy. As the seconds go by, I know he was made especially for me to survive in the modern world. I quickly hid the knife under my dress and got back in my car. Opening my purse I looked for the keys of my car.
"What the..." I dumped everything from my purse on the seat looking crazily for the stupid keys.
His mischievous smirk flashed before my eyes.
"Norman....that IDIOT TOOK MY KEYS!"
Not only that was gone, but also some of my cash was missing.
That sneaky devil managed to sneak his hand in my purse while he kissed me!
Rage ran through my head as I couldn't believe I fell for his trap.
He didn't kiss me because he couldn't resist me...
He kissed for payback.
