Ryan's POV~

"I shouldn't be here!" I yelled in my cell, gripping on the bars that contained me from my freedom. "I'm innocent!"

"Mhm that's what they all say." An officer guarding me rolled his eyes.

"Well I'm not they." I protested.

"Whatever." He walked off.

"Hey! I'm not done talking with you!" I shouted.

The officer walked off without saying another word back. I banged my head a few times on the bar when suddenly a shadow loomed over me.

"Mother?!"

"Ugh you make me sound old." She groaned and quickly gave a brief smile and a wink to a random officer walking by. He winked back and disappeared around the corner.

"Mom!" I snapped her attention back to me.

"Child hush! Do you want to be free or not?" She frowned

"How did you know I was here?" I asked her as the officer she winked came back with some keys to open my cell.

"Norman called." She gave a blunt reply.

"Or did you?"

"Me? Call him? Don't be pathetic." She laughed. "Why would I call that imbecile?"

"Known to the fact that you are lying to me!"

"What makes you say that?" She frowned.

Lies...all lies...

I closed my eyes shut as the little whispers in my head spoke out the truth. Not only that but her aura was a lie itself. I can feel all of her lies radiating off from her. Indignation burned that my mother was a freaking double face person.

"Me lie?" She placed her hand on her heart in a hurt manner. "I thought we had this clear..."

"Clear of what? That just because you're vampire you can do all the fuck you want?"

The bars in front of me was removed as the officer stepped aside to overhear our conversation.

"Vampire?" He chuckled. "Boy you need something to treat that head of yours."

I shot the officer a glare as he had no business to interfere with the conversation.

"That's what I'm been telling this child." My mother laughed. "Too bad he is too much like his father. I've been suggesting a mental institution. Poor child thinks I'm a vampire."

"I know of a good place." The officer suggested.

"Oh?" A smirk spread to her lips as she walked over to the officer. She placed two fingers on his chest and fluttered her eyes. "My...aren't you helpful."

"Well I'm just doing my job." The officer blushed and looked away.

"Thank you." She leaned into his ear and brushed her lips passed his ear. "Quite a charmer." She giggled.

"Mom!" Embarrassment washed over me.

"Your child?" The officer rose an eyebrow.

"What? Of course not," She flipped her hair back and shot me a glare. "That thing is my step son."

"Step?!" I yelled making both of them face me.

"Um can you give me the address of that place? I think he is worsening." My mother faced back at the officer. "Can you believe this kid? He thinks I'm his mother."
