Ryan's POV~
I just couldn't hold.
Drastic times means drastic
measures."What are you doing?!" Time hissed in my head.
I felt my face go red in embarrassment. I popped my head out from a corner and went back to what I was doing.
"You seriously couldn't hold..." I could imagine the demon in me rolling his eyes.
"Look man I'm scared," I tried finding an excuse of what I was doing.
"How many times do I have to tell you that you got me. I am here to help you. Besides, this is your house you could of just-"
"Sure having a demon controlling me solves everything," I interrupted him before stating the obvious, "I'm a guy unlike you I have my needs."
"Humans..."
"I'm not telling you to judge me. It's not my fault my bladder couldn't hold!" I snapped, "I had to piss alright you can chill now," I bit my lip in vexation.
"In a corner. Into a balloon....I am so impressed with your bravery..." Time mocked me. "Why don't you let me take over your body?" He suggested, "I have all the strength and power you need...."
"It's not about strength or powers," I zipped my pants back up. "It's about saving my family."
"What family? Time taunted me, "Last time I recalled it was destroyed to pieces. What should really matter to you right now is to end the queen's reign...before she destroys all of us..."
A lightning lit up the hallway, pointing out that there was still a storm outside. The walls slightly shook with the roar of a thunder making a glass vase come crashing down from its stand.
"Fucking child."
"Pathetic little thing."
"Stupid Ryan."
I shut my eyes hoping all those past voices could vanish away.
Words hurts.
They hurt really bad.
"The mind replays what the heart can't delete..." Time whispered within the other voices. "You got to fight through it. You must get the control..."
I opened my eyes and gritted my teeth. I was fed up with everything. I only want to be normal is that too much to ask for? I shoved all the tiny voices to the back of my head and looked down at the filled balloon I had in in my hands. Gross I now but with everything happening in the short life span of seconds, fear dominated over everything.
Even if I had a demon in me.
I felt my eyes start to water. So many people needed me right now and here I was, done pissing into a balloon in a freaking corner. I slowly walked over to the broken vase and gently picked a piece of the shattered glass. I stared at my many broken reflection as the hallway went blue again.
Only the sound of my heart pounding overpowered the silence.
"You live by seconds Ryan..." Time's voice brought me back to reality. "Run!" He hissed. "You freak what are you standing there for?! Turn around you big dunce!"
"I thought you were the good guy!" I snapped, irritation burning in me.
"Oh Ryan," A cackle echoed down the hallway.
