I'm never, ever in a million years accepting Donald J. Trump as my fucking president, btw.
I remember going to bed that night like "Oh Florida's blue so everything will be okay!" and then my dad woke me up the next morning like "Trump's our president, now." I legit thought he was bullshitting me until I looked at the news.
So as an LGBT Indian girl, I'm kinda scared?? These batshit crazy Trump supporters have been doing hate crimes all over the goddamn nation lol the US won't even fucking acknowledge the connection between them.

Honestly, these stats don't even surprise me. The voter turnout was surprisingly low this election in comparison to like, every other fucking one. I stg as soon as I turn 18 im voting in those damn Senate elections.
I pretty much hate this country and I severely underestimated how many xenophobic, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic bigots that live in this shit-hole. Have you seen Pence's policies??? He's funding conversion therapy?? He defunded the HIV/AIDS research??

I have friends actually applying for dual citizenship to European countries just in case shit gets bad. I have friends that are actually going to move back to their homelands. I have people afraid to wear their hijabs in public. I have African American and Hispanic friends getting harassed in school and in public.
