Chapter 5

Neveaeh's POV

*A Few Weeks Later*

I walked back into my trailer after lunch, running into Andy.

"Oh, sorry, I was just leaving." He mumbled.

"Andy-"

"Sorry, I have to go." He said and left. I sighed and closed the door behind me, sitting down on the couch.

"What's got you down Nev?" Tzvia asked.

"Andy's been avoiding me for weeks now! He was one of my good friends, now it's so boring here. All I've got is Norman." I sighed.

"He's just going through some things." She shrugged. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, interrupting our conversation.

"Come in!" She called. The door opened and a familiar blonde walked in.

"EMILY!" Tzvia exclaimed.

"TZVIA!" The blonde, Emily, exclaimed as they ran to each other, hugging tightly. They broke apart and Tzvia turned to me.

"Nevaeh, this is Emily McKinney, she played Beth." Tzvia introduced.

"Oh my god, now I remember you! Hi!"

"Hi!" She giggled, extending her hand for me to shake it.

"Nevaeh is one of our new special effects artists." Tzvia explained.

"Oh." Emily said. Tzvia and Emily went off, catching up on lost time. Luckily, someone came in needing to become a zombie so I wasn't completely bored. I was listening in on their conversation though, because I'm nosy.

"Where's Norman?" Emily asked. "I wanted to surprise him." A pang of jealousy hit me. Why? I don't know. It's not like Norman and I are together or anything. I just remembered all the panels and videos I watched online, how close Norman and Emily were. Fuck.

"He's not in the episodes we're filming so he's on and off set all the time. You know how he is."

"Damn." She said. There was silence for a while and I continued on the person I was working on.

"Hey Nevaeh." I turned to see Emily had moved to the couch closer to me.

"Hey." I said.

"Wow, you're really good at this."

"I guess that's why they hired me."

"I guess." She giggled. God, why was she so perfect. "So, how are you liking set?"

"It's really fun. Everyone's really nice. Especially Norman and Andy."

"Yeah, Norman was my best friend while I was on set." She said.

"Do you miss set?"

"Hell yeah. But, it was my time to leave so what can you do?" She shrugged. Just then, Steven walked in.

"Steven!"

"Oh my god, hey Emily." He smiled, hugging her before going to the makeup chair so Tzvia could get started.

***

I was sitting in Norman's trailer with him with the door was thrown open, cutting off our conversation.

"REEDUS!"

"EMILY!" He exclaimed, jumping up and hugging her tightly. He pulled away and licked her cheek, causing her to giggle. "God, I missed you so much." He said, hugging her again.

"I missed you too, Norm." She said. They talked for a while and I just sat there, hoping Norman would eventually remember that we were talking first, but that didn't happen. I ended up just getting up and leaving, they didn't even notice. Emily has only been here for a few days and I'm already annoyed. After I was allowed to go home, I left as quick as I could before Norman could catch up with me. It's not like he would anyways. He's probably too busy with Emily.

I was scrolling through Instagram before bed and I saw he had posed a picture of him and Emily eating dinner. I threw my phone down and went to sleep. I hated this feeling. I hated Emily. I hated all of it.
