We ended up going to Applebee’s. This was very funny to watch because our server said,

“Hello Katie, and who is this?” Natasha asked.

“This is my friend Garrett, Natasha, he moved in next to me.” I laughed as he heard Natasha talking me as old friends.

“Garrett, don’t worry or freak out. This is my friend Natasha she goes to my school and we work together.” I giggled so hard I almost fell over.

Natasha laughed along too.

“So, Natasha you work two jobs?” he asked still a little confused.

She laughed and answered,

“Nope I only work here.”

“Then where do you two work together?” he asked really confused.

“Garrett,” I captured his attention, “I work here during the weekends and when they need me.” I laughed harder and harder.

“Oh! NOW I get it!!” He laughed now understanding.

We went to our table with Natasha on my side and Garrett on my right, holding my hand. We sat at our table and we knew what we wanted to order. We ordered 2 Diet Cokes with onion rings and ranch for our appetizer.

“So what do you want to talk about?” Garrett asked me looking acward.

“Um… I guess you just found that I work. This look on your face was hilarious!” I laughed, ‘I wish I took a picture.”

He laughed even harder than me. We both sat there laughing. I wanted so badly to tell him my special secret but I knew he would either run away screaming or never believe me.

“So what do you like to do?” he asked.

I love to run as fast as the wind because I’m not human. I added mentally.

“I like to race people and go for a jog.” I said aloud.

“Cool, what else do you like to do?” he asked more curious.

“Well, I love to be around family and friends.” I answered.

“And?!?!” he asked about to explode.

“Well, I love to do insane, crazy things with my friends and family. Brothers mainly.” I laughed at him, when he looked so interested and excised.

“Like who!?!” He pressed on.

“Like Jake and Jason. Or on my friends’ side Allie and Natasha.” I answered with a smile on my face.

“Well, I’ve meet Jake and Jason and Natasha. Who is Allie?” he asked more intense.

“Well, Allie is utterly my best friend and she lives across me in the blue house with white shutters.” I smiled answering his questions.

“Who else?” he asked, getting irritated.

And I knew what he meant by his frustration.

“And of course my best buddy, Garrett!!!” I laughed and he threw his hands in the air gasped a large breath of air.

“FINALLY!!!” he exploded, “I thought you would never say it!!” I laughed and then Natasha came up and we order lunch.

“I will have the chicken tenders and the club sandwich and onion rings.” I asked Natasha.

“And for you…um… what was your name again?” she stuttered

“Garrett and I would like the same thing.” He laughed at Natasha.

“Alright I’ll be over in a bite.” She walked away, dazed.

After lunch we went to his house and spent some time with his family.
