The first thing I registered was the feeling that something wet was on my forehead. I've got to stop waking up like this. I knew I had to face the Alpha of the pack at one point I'd hoped it wasn't this soon though.

I gave myself a long meaningful pep talk and just when I was about to make it known I'd woken up that deep voice spoke, " If you don't stop faking your asleep this minute I won't hold back."

Ignoring the protesting my hands made when I pushed myself up onto my elbows the rag falling off my forehead. Raising an eyebrow at his suggestion I finally took in his appearance. Big was an understatement.

He was ENORMOUS, his arms were full of muscles and lay crossed at his chest. His shoulders were broad and his eyes. His eyes were an amazing silver that had a slight tint of purple. I'd never seen eyes like those. His hair was cropped and contrasted against his pale skin, of course black hair would contrast.

I felt tiny and vulnerable next to him. Nothing like how I felt next to Liam. Liam. Thinking of him brought tears to my eyes.

"Not to ruin your moment of sadness or anything but I'd really like to give my pack members a reason not to kill you besides you being one of us you know?"

I didn't dare look up instead I started speaking, " My name is Jessica Lou, my father was the beta of the Night Blade pack. I was I think five or six when my pack started abusing me, first it was verbal. I didn't understand most of what they said. I'd come home at dinner time and ask my dad what words meant and he start getting mad and ask me who call me that but my mother would glare at me not to say anything. I told him it was nothing just something I'd heard and for year I went through verbal abuse. Suddenly when I was 10 the physical abuse began. At times I'd have to stay at the basement filled with pain and hoping I'd heal soon. Praying my dad would find me and finally save the day, but this never happened. Life went on like this everyone including my mother abusing me and my father questioning me about the bruises but always trusting my mothers answer. As you must know a female longs and dream about her mate. I dreamed he'd stand up for me and protect me and finally end my abusive life. Boy was I wrong. Liam was my best friend as a child and is the Alpha's only son. Imagine my surprise when I found out I was his mate. I think I hoped he'd remember our friendship and accept me as a mate. In reality who would remember after all these years? As expected I was rejected and if that wasn't enough I was exiled. I ran even though I heard my father's screams assuming someone would explain to him all that happened throughout these year. I don't know how much I ran but I somehow ended up here and well you know the rest." I kept my head lowered and hear him begin to speak, "

Dear Jessica you can stay. Even join the pack but you have no idea the challenge ahead of you."

Hey Y'all!!!

Okay first off Merry Christmas!! I got some Vinyls and boots! What did y'all get? I hope you're having an amazing day wherever you are. I wanted to tell you guys I'm going ice skating. I don't know why but I do. I also want to tell you my birthday is coming up!! January 6 to be exact and I've been pretty mad because we had to retake a nursing test because some people cheated. Anyways y'all would brighten my day if you spread the word about my story. Thanks ahead of time.
