*Three months later*

The trees blurred past, and my feet thundered across the forest floor. Justine glanced at me and give me a slight nod. We broke through the trees and entered the small clearing. The wolf entered and at that moment, Justine and I approached him. Her eyes shined with a mischievous glint I knew meant trouble. "

Hi there where do you think you're going?"

Justine's golden eyes flickered to me and a crooked grin was speed across her face. I knew exactly what she was going to do. Justine had a serious liking for messing with people using our acquired powers and then knocking them out. As always the wolf ran away, well at least he tried to.

Justine had managed to stretch a force field around the opening. He could try to run away but it would be useless. Like every other wolf he start to growl at the space as if it would help. Lifting my head slightly to gaze at the tops of the surrounding trees. I looked around and started to add a slight breeze around the whole territory. A bad habit I had acquired when I was getting a strong emotion in this case annoyance.

"Come on Jess! Seriously you never have fun."

Justine's voice filled my mind. Being the awesome sister, I am I mentally screamed back.

"FUN!! Torturing your own kind is FUN!! Just be happy I'm even giving you the opportunity to have "fun"."

The moment I said the last sentence I heard a loud crack around the clearing. The sky around us started filling with thunder. This time she spoke out loud.

" You know what, just go away I don't need you! I can have my fun and you can be a "good girl" and stay at home with your precious alpha!"

She wasn't happy I knew that, even the sky showed it.

"You and I both know you can't. Why would you have needed to wait for me so long? Without having each other close by our powers are useless. I mean come on without using our powers our eyes are almost hazel aside from the gold. When we do your eyes turn gold and mine turn emerald For all I know we both lived with hazel gold eyes!"

Justine's anger flatter slightly but not for long in a second she had the poor wolf in the middle of a ring of fire. I swiped my hand across and whipped the fire backed at her. The fire twirled around her, causing sparks to fill some of the forest air. The wolf looked scared and like he was about to pass out. In an instant I had him on the floor in a deep slumber.

Justine's eyes went back to hazel but her gold swirled around her eyes. She was still really angry and was going to do something reckless I just knew it. Her arm out stretched she tried to flicker something at me, ice? Fire? Granite? Water? Who knows, before she had time to react I leapt into the air and vanished.

I was suddenly in the alpha's office, and the wolf was at my feet. Of course I wouldn't leave him with Justine even powerless, she'd cause trouble. Rocco didn't even look up in a second he had people taking the wolf to the medic. He motioned for me to sit.

Reluctantly I sat down and at that exact moment Justine burst into the office. She looked at me and then at Rocco who simply pointed to the seat next to me. His eyes finally met mine and then Justine's who seemed a bit more composed.

" You both need to calm down and stop getting in fights so often its not good for either of you. I also wanted to tell you neighboring packs have been getting attacked. One pack in particular is reaching out to us for help."

At that moment the only thing that went though my head was no not that pack. Im not going back I'm not ready. On the outside that was a different facade, "What pack? The idiots that kicked me out?"

Of course I knew the answer Liam's pack was calling for help, I knew he had a new mate. How couldn't I? Rejection was one thing but the connection was still there. The moment I felt his mating begin I went to Rocco. Rocco had been trying to get me to go out with him for sometime. The death of his mate had left him weak but somehow I changed him.

He was more social and he'd slowly started to get attracted and so did I but I held on to the slight hope Liam would look for me. At that moment I knew I needed to let go and I did. Liam and I were happy together and Justine had given us her blessing.

As she kindly put it " I prefer him over that jackass of your mate," as always mom had scolded her and hidden her cases of Arizona Green tea. She was addicted, she had boxes everywhere! I on the other had no obsession I knew of.

Its amazing how far I've come my fathers beta blood got handed down to me. I challenged the old beta and was now beta at my new pack. Everything was amazing until now of course.

" I'm sorry Jess, it's the Night Blade pack thats been getting attacked. Liam your old mate called me nearly begged for our help. I of course said my pack and I would go down to access the problems. Rogues don't attack without a reason and we all know it. Jessica as beta you are forced to come no matter what. You really have no option in this. I'm sorry."

I looked up determined. The people who rejected me will pay and see exactly what they missed on having in their pack.

"Rocco I know I have to go and I have no problem with going. That is if Justine comes with me."

I looked at Justine and saw that she nodded her and held that glint in her eyes. This time I didn't care what she did. I completely agreed with her.

"It's settled then tomorrow we go to the Night Blade territory."

Its on people and there's no going back I'm going to make them pay.
