Chapter 13

Song of the Chapter: Say Somthing ~ A Great Big World Ft. Christina Aguilara

Corinna wasn't as bad as I'd thought, and as it turned out, Justine had acquired a protector too. His name was Ashton, and he wasn't at all what I'd expected. He looked tough and rude. He was not bulky but had a slender build with slight muscles. He had an attractive slender face, his brown eyes hinted arrogance and confidence. He was attractive and well I had to admit he was something that I had not expected.

I mentally slapped myself and told myself he was not my priority. Thankfully he knew Justine's likes and was able to help us out with the search for a wedding dress. A couple of times he would glance my way. I wasn't sure if he was upset of what I did or just found me interesting.

Its been two hours and not only had I searched for dresses but Corinna had tried on dress after dress. I was not the same size as Justine so I couldn't try anything on and Corinna seemed to be her size so she was our best bet to the ideal size. I had to admit the dresses Aston, Corinna, and I picked were gorgeous but none of which seemed good enough for Justine. They weren't something I could see my sister walk down the aisle in.

Once again here I was standing among the racks and racks full of bridal gowns. I hoped these next couple of minutes I'd find something or else I'd have no idea of what to do. I mean, it is  Justine we're talking about here, and  when she's pissed off nothing gives her satisfaction.

The pastic bags underneath my fingers were a material I was starting to get used to and I really didn't mind. As long as she'd happy, which probably wouldn't happen.

"Hey Jessica how about this one?"

Looking up I saw a lacy mermaid gown with sequins. Of course Corinna would pick one like that. I moved on to look at my gowns again but spoke back.

"No, she hates mermaid dresses with a passion. She won't were anything mermaid related. She needs to be able to dance and run freely. You probably know how adventurous she is."

My eyes remained trained to the dresses in front of me and at the same time Ashton's hand touched my forearm, I saw it. The dress I'd been looking for one that would make Kyle weak and Justine fall in love. I wasn't even sure I'd find one but here it was. I looked up into Kyle's eyes and yelled in happiness.

"I've found it! I've found the dress!" I threw my arms around him and saw Corinna staring wide eyed at me. That is until I realized she was looking behind me.

"Jessica what are you doing! First you piss off Justine and she comes crying home hysterically. Telling me you took her you know what away from her and now you're hugging guys that aren't you boyfriend."

My blood ran cold and my breath got caught in my throat. I released Ashton and gave him and apologetic smile. I slowly turned to face Rocco who looked ready to knock Ashton's head off his shoulders.

"Hey Roc, what are you doing here. I mean it's not like it was safe for Justine to have her powers. I mean come on how safe can a fire throwing werewolf be?"

If possible that got Rocco even more angry and he took a step forward to grab my arm. He grabbed my arm and I launched the dress at Corinna. "Go try it on! Ash go with her and send me a picture!" Hearing Ashton's nickname Rocco's grip grew even tighter. He shoved me into the car and once I was fully inside and he'd climbed into the car he started yelling at me.

"What the hell Jessica. Why in the world would you speak about your powers if it was no big deal! You even talked about werewolves in front of humans! HUMANS! Jessica what the hell were you doing with humans and why were you flirting with a human guy!"
