My blood ran cold and my eyes moved quickly up to search the unknown woman's face. Her golden eyes remain steady and showed complete seriousness.

This was no game.

I was her daughter, she was my mother, and I had a twin.

A twin I lived years not knowing existed. The one person who could have changed the way I looked at life and could speak to when I needed to release my deepest thoughts or feelings.

Did she miss me when she was growing up?

Did she know I existed. I ran my head through my hair lost in my thoughts. My mind racing miles per hour, coming up with different reasons.

"Why?" My voice came out raspy and barely audio able.

"I think its time you all left. As you all know Zoe and Justine need to talk to Jessica and let here know about her identity and explain the events from her old pack."

I hadn't even noticed Rocco left until I heard him talking to everyone else. Footsteps started to fill the room and goodbyes were spoken but mostly people fled.

"Jessica, Jessica? Look at me, my name is Zoe and this is your sister Justine. You may have noticed that she's your twin. I know it can be extremely alarming, but I just wanted to let you know, I've always wanted you."

My eyes once glued to the floor were locked onto the two women in front of me. I couldn't even manage to look at Rocco who held my hand in a comforting manner.

Justine's eyes were glued to Rocco's hand flickering over to mine briefly before a small smile appeared on her face before she started speaking.

"I know you're confused but we should start off from the beginning. Mom can explain it better than I can, I'll add in details you might need."

I nodded my head still unable to speak. "As you know my name is Zoe I am a native to this pack. Meaning you my dear Jessica are also tied to this pack. Your father was the beta to be and I was extremely young and stupid. My father was the pack's best fighter and as is to be expected so was I. The time came for both of the packs to meet both the Night Blade and Ingeniosus packs were once enemies. Thankfully for the past decades the packs have lived in harmony. Well back to my story your father and I fell in love. We went dated and I became engaged we were briefly married and I conceived you. As you know werewolf pregnancies can take longer or less than normal pregnancies. In my case it took five months. In those five months your father found his mate."

My eyes whipped up in disbelief and I couldn't believe what I'd heard. Werewolves rarely got married with other people aside from their mates.

" I know what you're thinking, I know I'm stupid. Listen to the rest before you judge, at the time of your birth you were born and the moment you were born your father left and fled with you. I had been unknowing of the fact his mate had convinced him to take you from me. He had no idea of the fact you were a twin and I had two daughters that day. If he did he would have taken Justine."

This story was starting to confuse me and make my world flip over and over again.

"Wait so my mother isn't the one I grew up with!! I always wondered why she treated my horribly. Wait a second is that why I was taken in easily? Why was I even treated great at first and suddenly treated like filth?"

My eyes searched her golden ones that held mine as she spoke, " Yes Heather was never your mother she may have treated you fairly at first but well as you may know she stopped after you did something. The reason you were treated fine at first was the fact that you seemed normal. Seemed normal, you aren't you're Ingeniosus (A/N gifted after translated from greek). To other werewolves the Ingeniosus are nothing but a myth. In reality we aren't each of us is gifted and our eyes are a rare color to mark us, in a sense. They show we're gifted and often show our ability. The fact you're a twin complicated things. I was watching you, every second since you were taken from me. The moment your eyes stared darting around I knew that was the day your gift would show itself. In order for your gifts to show and manifest successfully in twins they need to be at least within a mile radius. So I ran five miles closer to you for your sake and your sister's. The act of gift emerging is painful and extremely bloody in most cases. As it was for you which explains the shoes you found. Gifts are mostly hereditary you as well as Justine obtained my gift. Absorption of other gifts."

My mind was literally everywhere starting off with Heather and my "absorption" gift. A pale white hand caught mine, dark blood red nails and ring covered fingers wrapped around my own.

" Stop. I know what you're thinking but sadly its all true."

Her golden hazel eyes held compassion and truth. Rocco lightly tugged on my hand, and nodded his head.

" So all this is true and I'm a twin and have a mother I didn't now existed! Who was watching me like a creepy stalker! Wait!! That was you! Oh my god I thought I was crazy! All-," pain invaded half of my face Justine stared a
fire burning in her liquid gold eyes.

"Justine!"

"No its time she gets herself together! Here she is acting like a little girl who got her lollipop stolen and can't do anything! She's better than this for pete's sake! I'm better than this! We don't have time to waste! I've waited YEARS to perfect my gift but I can't because my freaking sister was kidnapped by my no good father!! Its time she manned up and showed Liam what the Ingeniosus pack can do and the Kane family can too!"

Justine glared at me her hand flying throughout her speech.

" Justine seriously you've known for years-" I cut Zoe off, "She's right, I need to step up and show Liam what mistake he made. My whole pack. They had no right to treat me like a diseased animal, goodness I was the beta's DAUGHTER!! Its time I showed what I can do don't you think?"
