Niall's P.O.V -
Where the fuck is she? I called her cell phone for a straight hour until I heard a buzzing noise in her purse. She left her phone here. The car is gone and so are the keys. I can't fucking cancel our flight back because it's the last one to America until next week.
I can't stop pacing back and forth. My family fell asleep around 6 o'clock. I already said my last goodbyes to them because they were exhausted. I hear the door open downstairs and hold my nervous breath.
It's her.
"I wen-" I don't even let her finish. I just push her back outside and shut the door behind me.
"Where the hell where you?" I press.
"I told you I was-"
"Told me what?"
"That I was going to-"
"That you were going to what?" I cut her off again.
"Let me finish!" She says folding her arms, then quickly unfolding them.
"Then finish.." I lean against the brick wall, aggravated.
"I told you that I was going somewhere and you said okay. Then you gave me the keys and I left." She shrugs.
"I was sleeping, Cleo! Don't ask me shit while I'm sleep." I defend. I tell people yes all of the time while I'm sleeping, just so they'll leave me alone and let me go back to sleep.
"Well, I'm back now." She sighs and shrugs as if nothing's wrong; white puffs coming out of her mouth, due to the cold climate.
"Where did you go?" I watch her body language shift.
"I just went to go look around. To take pictures around town, so I can keep them for memories. I'm fine, Niall. Calm down." I walk to her slowly, looking down at her.
"Funny, because you left your phone at home." I squint at her. She looks lost right now.
"I- I meant I took pictures on my camera."
"You don't own a camera, Cleo." I walk closer to her. She looks down, avoiding my eye contact.
"Look, Niall, I'm getting tired and we still have to drive to the airport, so let's go ins-" I pull her back by her wrist because she tried to pretend like she's tired and wants to go inside.
"Where were you?" I bend down, forcing her eyes to glue to mine. She doesn't even answer me. It's almost as if she wants to break eye contact with me, but she can't.
"Cleo, stop standing there like you don't hear me." I'm getting pissed off because she wasn't telling me the truth at first, now she's not saying anything at all.
"Nowhere," She mumbles breaking eye contact, looking down. I grab her chin, bringing her eyes back to mine.
"Don't fucking lie to me!" I shout and she snatches her head away from my hold.
"Stop yelling at me!" She shouts back, yanking her wrist from me. Her palms going up to her cover eyes and her fingertips tugging at the beginning of her hair line.
"Then, tell me where you went!"
"No, I don't want to." She says moving her hands from her hair, sniffling. I know she's very very emotional, but she's pissing me the fuck off and I don't have time for it. It's almost 11 and the drive to the airport isn't short.
"You know what? You can stay here, while I fly back to America." I go inside and slam the door in her face, locking it. I search for 10 minutes looking for junk that we brought. I grab what we came with and go back outside.
