"I love you." Cleo says to me, breathing quickly while letting out a few cries. In a way, I don't want her to tell me that because I feel like she's saying that as if that would be our last words to each other.

"I love you, don't let go Cleo." I tell her back and I can see her hands slipping. Harry shouts for us to hold onto something because the ditch looks deep.

"N-no, no, no," Cleo starts crying louder in my neck and I want to cry too, but I can't do that. I have to worry about Cleo's safety first, then Harry's, then mine.

The car flips four times into the deep ditch and I hold onto Cleo as tight as I can, pushing her head down to stay in my neck, so she doesn't get up.

A branch comes through the window that I did never let up and I pull Cleo into my chest to protect her from the branch that has came through the window and into my car.

"Are you guys okay?" Harry asks us and I nod, but Cleo's still crying.

"She's in shock, she's never been in a car accident before." I tell Harry while he dials for help. I notice the blood on my hands while I break the branches down. What the hell?

I have a feeling where the blood came from, but I try to not think about it. Cleo's body flinches to the side, her head is still over my shoulder and I can hear her rapid  breathing. I move my hand to the back of her shirt again, touching around until her hand comes down to snatch mine away from her back.

Ambulances, Fire trucks, Policeman all show up. All I see are the multicolored lights from all of the helping vehicles. Cleo doesn't look up whenever the firefighters come down. They help Harry out first, then they grab Cleo, but she won't let go of me.

"He'll meet you up there, ma'am. But you have to let of him, so he can meet you." The fireman tell my girlfriend, but she shakes her head no, tightening her grip on me.

The man grabs Cleo by her waist and she cries out in pain, moving his hands away from her back. He picks her up gently, and she wraps one arm around my neck, pressing her lips to mine. I notice the red spot on her back whenever they take her out of the ditch.

"Alright, come on. We have to put the car out before it sets on fire." The man tells me whenever the front of my car has small flames.

"Undo your seat belt, son." The man says to me and I try, but it won't unclick. The car flames are spreading quickly and the passenger seat is already on fire. If the flames reach my gas pump area, I'm gone.

Black ash is starting to get on my clothes while they cut my seat belt off. The multiple huge water hoses is splattered on the car while they pull me out of the window, my clothes getting wet a little.

"Oh my God," As soon as they helped me up, I step forward looking for Cleo's voice and I see her running out of the ambulance and I bend down a little. I feel somewhat like a dad leaning down a little while my daughter runs to me, even though it's an odd comparison, I don't care.

The doctors run after Cleo, telling her to get back into the ambulance, but she continues to run to me anyway. Her arms open when she gets close, mine doing the same.
