A/N- Next chapter is the last one!!
"What do you want?" Pete demanded of me.
I let out a laugh, I was pretty sure it was obvious why I was here, but I guess I'll have to explain it to them anyways.
"Do you really have to ask that? I was so close to my promotion, so close I could taste it! But no, this idiot and you two," I paused to gesture at Pete and Patrick, "had to go and mess things up for me! I'm so weak right now I can't even hold my own form, which is why I was forced to use this."
I glared down at Josh's body. He was the main reason I'm in this mess, so he was the one I held the most anger towards. Apparently, my anger ignited Tyler's own anger, because he snapped at me.
"How dare you! It's bad enough that you have to come back here and try to ruin my life again, but you're trying to use Josh as a means to do that! You steal him away from me, and then insult him?! I don't care who you think you are or how powerful you are, Josh is a better person than you ever could hope to be! The saying 'it's better to be feared than loved' is a load of bullshit. Josh will always have people on his side fighting for him, you won't. You're on your own. Josh was right. You're a fucking coward."
By the end of Tyler's rant, he was in my, or Josh's, face and gripping the front of my shirt. Before I could respond, we had a new member join our group.
"Ok, ok, I'm here. What's going- oh, uh, is this a bad time? I could come back later if you two are in the middle of a little lovers spat..."
Fucking Dallon.
"This isn't Josh," Tyler said as he pushed me away. When Dallon saw Josh with red hair and red eyes, he realized that things were worse than he realized.
"Well shit," were the only words he spoke.
"What's wrong Dallon? Didn't you miss me? It seems no one else has. Sadly, you're a little late to the party. It's already time for you all to leave. Except Tyler, I still need to have a few words with him." My words were taunting and my face held a grin.
"If you think we're just going to leave Tyler alone with you, you're dumber than we thought." Dallon said crossing his arms over his chest and moving to stand next to Pete and Patrick. They all looked royally pissed off. Oh well, not my problem.
Soon they will not matter.
"I may be in a weakened state right now, but I still have a few tricks up my sleeve." I started making the mirror a portal, and with a wave of my hand I made all the ghosts fly into the portal, leaving Tyler and I alone.
"Ah, much better. Not feeling so confident now, are you?" I asked with a laugh as I cracked my knuckles. I could feel his anxiety increasing and could almost hear his heartbeat. As I walked closer to him, he responded to me.
"You don't scare me. Yes, you make me worried, but you don't scare me. I know Josh is still in there somewhere, and he'll stop you before you can do anything to hurt me. Even if he can't do anything, I will. I'm not going to let you bully me anymore." If he thought standing up to me again would work, he was wrong. I was already out of his mind; I'm just not destroyed yet.
"Oh Tyler, it's going to take more than words and feelings to make me go away this time."
"That doesn't matter, you won't win."
"Want a bet?"
I used Josh's strength and slammed Tyler into the wall behind him and wrapped my hands around his throat. He immediately began to struggle, but Josh is so much stronger than him, so it was no use.
Suddenly, Josh pushed to the front of his mind and moved me out of the way. I saw Josh's hands drop away from Tyler.
"Josh? Are you there? Your hair is purple..." Tyler asked confusedly, his voice scratchy from where I had been gripping it moments before
"For now, I'm trying Ty. Please-" Once again I was able to cut Josh off before he could finish his sentence and encourage Tyler further. His body collapsed slightly and he pushed me back a bit more. "Please know I'm trying."
Finally, I got Josh pushed all the way back again. I felt him scream, and then I got back in control. "Sorry about that. Where were we again?" I sarcastically asked with a smirk.
"You were just saying that you were going to leave all of us alone and go throw yourself into the deepest pit in hell." Tyler said, trying to be a brave smartass.
"Yeah, I don't think so." I responded.
I started to stalk closer to Tyler, but fucking Josh got in the way again. Josh's body collapsed sideways as Josh gave a forceful shove to get me out of his mind. I pushed him back more and started to stand up, but then I was really caught off guard.
Tyler tackled me to the floor.
