*** From the eyes of somebody new..***
Austin Lowle.. That was his name..
He was a teenager of course.. went to Xavier High School.
No.. Not like in X-Men.. an actual school in New York. And frankly, as a citizen of living in the most vibrant city in the world.. he felt he had seen it all..
That's right.. everything he'd seen. Drunk drivers.. crazy heads.. traffic haters.. subway accidents.. everything. ..
But.. nothing could have prepared him for something every teenage guy feared more than rabid dogs, alien invaders, and the characters of Five Nights at Freddy's... (at least that's what freaked him out.)... that's right...
Girls..
And today.. he happened to find one..
He lived in a house in the New York suburbs. A 16 year-old guy who lived alone in that house to be precise.
it was an ordinary family home, with white walls and such.. the only thing not normal was his family.
Yes, he lived alone. His parents paid for the house so he could live in it.. but they preferred to stick around the Bahamas and not be bothered with him by far. He was an ordinary guy by all appearances.. black hair, blue eyes.. always wearing an orange t-shirt.. but if you found out who his parents were, you'd probably flip out..
But there were only 2 things you needed to know as of late. Yes, they were rich. Yes, they didn't care about him one bit.. and yes.. he could care less himself..
So Austin dismounted the school bus in front of his house, sighing and shrugging his shoulders with very little enthusiasm.. his friends were all somewhere else playing League of Legends right now.. waiting for him to get online and join them.. nothing else to do right? Might as well.
Austin looked up at his front door.. and received his first mess of the day.. The door was open..
Austin froze, but the school bus had already driven away...
He took out his phone with trepidation. Should.. he call 911? But what if he just forgot to lock the door that day? Wouldn't be the first time right?
Austin shrugged. "Yep.. don't bug people with stupid stuff.. that's what dad always said.."
Austin walked.. as he did, he threw his backpack on the sofa and turned the 10 on..
"And in other news.. the massive burrowing creature which was sighted on Bronx today remains missing.. as does the strange black fog!" said the reporter as Austin got out a bag of potato chips and his computer. "We will continue with more details.. after the break."
"This a movie?" Austin muttered as he flipped open his computer, clicked on the League of Legends icon and pulled on his head phones... also taking a moment to open Skype.
"Hey my buds!" Austin said. "How's tricks?"
"Looking good.. Tristen couldn't make it.." said the voice of Sam on the other line. "So it's just us two.. go on and head over to Team Builder.. I wanna see if I can purchase some new skins. Oh.. by the way.. the News... did you see yet?"
"Something about a monster?" Austin muttered. "Honestly, I thought I was looking at a movie. Probably just an alligator somebody found in a toilet."
"No dude.. It's ACTUAL footage.. they caught it all.. Rek'Sai.. was rampaging through Bronx!!"
Austin coughed on some potato chips. "Wait.. what?"
"Check the footage man! I am not yanking your chain!!"
