Sam Gets His Wish

*** From Austin's Eyes***

Austin had never felt anything before like he did for Miyoko.

Every moment he looked at her now, even when she was a giant armored monster, he wanted to find some way to comfort her.

It was scary. Like Miyoko said before, they had known each other for only a grand total of 2 day. And yet, Austin felt oddly protective of her.

Why?

Yes she was very pretty, far prettier than most girls her age. On Sam's hot girl meter (which was actually a thing online), it was like a 20 out of 10.  Especially since her beauty was a very natural kind of beauty, not like those girls who looked like a billion plastic surgeries gone wild.

And yes, her rebel, stubborn, brave attitude was something that Austin admired.

"RRRRAAAHHHH!!!" rubble rained all around as Rek'Sai smashed through floor after floor, until finally, they hit a massive metallic room.

"This is it.." Sam whispered. "This is Project Forge!! Stop digging girl! We've found it!!"

They were in a massive room.. filled with strange metallic tiles. A ginormous mechanized ring stood on a platform at the far back.

"how do you know?" Jacky asked.

"It's a giant ring gateway! What else could it be?" said Sam.

Everyone slid of Rek'Sai's back, and as they did, Austin patted the Xer'Sai Queen's back gratefully.

Rek'Sai morphed back into Miyoko, looking exhausted, as if she had just been through a very tiring horrible nightmare.

And much to Austin's astonishment, the first thing she did, was run over to him and bury her face in the front of his shirt, what was she-?

Then Austin felt his shirt getting wet. She was crying, and she didn't want anybody to see. Austin sighed with a little relief and wrapped an arm around her. "Hey.. it's fine, you're fine kay?"

Sam, completely misreading the situation as usual, frowned. "Damn it Austin! you're getting all the chick action! No fair!"

"Idiot.." Jacky grumbled. "You really don't understand girls do you? It's no wonder you haven't got a girl friend!"

Sam looked as if he were going to let out an angry retort, but then he stopped. He looked up, and his jaw dropped slightly like it always did when he saw something weird beyond measure, or a hot girl.

"What is that!?" Sam stammered, pointing at a large techy looking cylinder the size of a small shack. The top of the cylinder was bubbling, with strange multicolored bubbles.

"It's.. some sort of pot I think.." said Jacky, climbing up a nearby maintenance latter. "Wow, it's like a Harry Potter potion.."

"Uh.. guys." Miyoko stammered, looking up from Austin's chest, her eyes red. "We.. um.. might want to move.."

Garage doors were opening on the far end of the room.. and out of the door, stomped something that Austin would've thought was so cool if it weren't so obviously intent on killing them.

It was ginormous, with white colored armor, and red thin stripes, Large mechanized armored legs, arms, with gray metallic fingers, and glowing green eyes.

It looked like a cross between the robots from Avatar and a Gundam.

"So freaking COOOL!!!!" Sam squealed. "OH MY GOSH!! I DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE DEVELOPING THIS!!!"

The mech suit pointed several gun barrels on it's shoulders at Miyoko, who let go of Austin slowly.

"Guys.. figure out how to work that portal.. I'll hold this freak off for as long as I can." Miyoko said as a bead of sweat trickled down her forehead.
